Clare's blood brought HRG from the dead with a bullet through the eye so Peter doesn't need any abilities for that to work.

Gonna guess that part of the africa's family tree has all been clairvoyants and they can probably transmit future images to people through something else (music or food. Thinking spiritually it is not that far of a stretch at all.)

Parkman ate the paste too when he did it. I think its just a psychosomatic drug that triggers clairvoyance in those with other abilities since it seems to me that it's the most basic ability (it's appeared the most times, it was the first power Peter absorbed etc)

Hiro ate paste, and just sat there a bit, and now he's able to see in the past (just for this one time), (which is what he asked for), so yeah that's bout it, and why the episode in two weeks, is about everyone's past story, imma enjoy that episode, cause it might clear somethings up.

You should explain your Linderman theory in further detail

Well, you see, Matt didn't actually cause that illusion with him, Daphne, and Knox. It wasn't even an illusion. The truth is apparent, though. You see, it is all about the turtle.

Back when they were creating synthetic powers, they didn't stick strictly to humans. Animals were included and were used as the prototype tests. Only two survived. First, and most known, is Mr Muggles, who clearly has precognitive and regeneratory abilities. The second surviving animal was the turtle, but his case is specifically interesting, because he already had an ability. He could heal others. When he was injected with a prototype synthetic power creating solution, he, like Mohinder, transformed... into a human. That's right, the turtle was in the first season as well. He. Was. Linderman.

You see, when DL punched through Linderman's head, the effect was the removing of his human form. During season 2, he convened with Mr Muggles, who told him his future started in Africa. Usutu also saw the future (and saw how important the turtle would be in protecting Matt, who would save the world), so he sought out the turtle as soon as the turtle reached Africa. The turtle then saved Matt from dehydration (first clue). Matt takes the turtle because of the BS story Usutu came up with to convince Matt to take the turtle.

Tonight's episode is what made me figure this out. Parkman and Daphne would be dead but the turtle saved them. Matt overcompensated for a situation he didn't understand and just made up the illusion story thing. He's not good enough at controlling his ability yet to do something that elaborate. Daphne is a total sheep (no, not literally, shes not part of the project), and goes along with whatever happens.

This also shows us some interesting connections. Maury used Linderman (he did know Linderman's true identity, though) as the projection to control Nathan and Daphne, and the turtle's fate was intertwined with his son's. I'm excited to see how this connection is explained (or will it be yet another plot hole :/)

Also, both Linderman and the turtle steal whatever scene they are in. The connection couldn't be clearer.
