another great episode! I think i had at least five outload "wtf" moments while watching it. Parkman manipulating Knox like that was awsome, Elle & Claire scene's were awsome... but I'm pissed she got cut already, I thought she was gonna have a big role in the Villians Chapter.

I can't believe Pa Patrelli just offed Maury like that, even though I never really cared much for him... not to mention I thought Maya was supposed to be killed off, but they just cut her from the show by taking her powers so dunno...

Sylar has become one of the most interesting characters now imo, you know he is just playing Arthur atm (on a side note, it was very cool to see Peter go back for him even though he is powerless and can't do anything).. I really just want to know how Peter gets his power's back, he better go all crazy on Arthur when he does, like how he did towards the end of Season 1 when he was just unstoppable.

Next episode is about Hiro doing his spirit walk back in time! I doubt she'd be involved though.

So Arthur's powers at this point include:
-regeneration/immortality
-shooting bolts of lightning
-telepathy/telepathic persuasion
-invisibility
-flight
-telekinesis
-superhuman strength
-intangibility? (did Peter get DL's power? I don't remember)
-stopping time/travelling through time and space
-Maya's life-force stopping thing
-going nuclear

And if he absorbed Peter's power to get others' powers just by being near them he's now a speedster and has the "grows stronger with others' fear" (would that stack with Nicki's power? lol)

How'd he say it? "I am better than everyone else, it's not an opinion it's a fact."

Claire is related to Nathan, who's power is synthetic. So I guess you could say Nathan didn't get Arthur's "cool" gene and it didn't get passed on to Claire.

Unless I'm mistaken, Flint is the blue-fire guy. As far as synthetic powers go, I believe it was posted somewhere that shortly there will be an episode where Sylar finds out that he was 'created' too.'

You sure? I know it was gonna be explained how/why Claire is special & that Sylar can absorb powers w/o needing to go brain diving... but i never read that he is in the same boat as Nathan.

No... Sylar and Peter are naturals, that's why they carry variations of Arthur's ability. It also explains why Arthur never really manifested (if he's a natural). Nathan is synthetic. Sylar took on his father's qualities (but is more like his mother, like Peter) while Nathan took on his mother's qualities (but is more like his father).

• You know how Elle channeled her overly abundant electricity into Claire? Later this season she'll do the same thing to a male character, only this time it will have some distinctly sexual overtones. Talk about good vibrations! As for next week, we'll get to know her when she was an agent in the field, and we'll meet her partner.
• Next week is flashback week. (Don't worry, as I promised, we will settle into the future eventually, just hang in there until Vol. Four: Fugitives.) We see what really happened to Arthur Petrelli, and whodunit. Was it Miss Scarlet in the conservatory with the candle stick? My money's on Mr. Greene in the library.
• We see Sylar eat his very first brain. OK, he doesn't technically eat them—"Claire, that's disgusting"—but you get my drift.
• Matt Parkman was buddy-buddy with villains back in the day. Any guesses as to which baddie he once knew quite well?

- Peter is indeed powerless (not even his mimic power)
- Angela hoped that Adam was behind the attacks, which is why she sent Hiro... not knowing that Arthur would steal his ability
- Adam may return
- Someone may possess the power to restore abilities
- Sylar will be using his Clairvoyance ability in the near future, and knows more about Pinehearst than he's revealed
- HRG and Sylar will team up again possibly before the season ends
- Peter will get his powers back at some point
- We will see what happened between Arthur/Linderman and Nathan/Peter in the past

They're going to retcon Sylar so it turns out he, like Peter, never actually needed to open up heads to get powers.

Hiro turning into a 10 year-old is caused by Arthur Petrelli and is nearly upon us.

It's strongly implied that Elle is the mother of Sylar's future kid, though I don't know if that's confirmed anywhere since in the timeline, Sylar would need to get her pregnant, like, right now.
