Not so much hyped up. Watching two grown men slap each other in the jungle would just suck worse. I'd prefer to see a powers fight, and flight vs. flight seems to be the only fair and interesting thing i can think of.

Yeah, I wanted to flat out call it a plothole and just point it out. But I know to many people that have a miss conception of what plotholes are and I didn't want to look like them

I figured there's a difference between what he does and what the eclipse does. I always figured he just suppressed powers, while the eclipse seems to have removed them completely. Regardless, it seems a little sloppy on their part.

It seems like they're setting up for a reboot of powers once the eclipse goes away. ie: Claire heals at the last minute etc. It seems like the eclipse took hours to start but will probably finish in just a few minutes or something.

As far as HRG, I'm predicting he tries for Sylar but shoots Elle instead. Either that or he sits there for 2 hours and the eclipse ends just as he shoots etc.

I figured he was going back there for Sylar. What were the the previews like?

They just showed Claire flatlining in the hospital with her mom there freaking out. No other characters were shown that I can remember.

With how far they are into the season and not showing them for a while, I'm going to guess that whole storyline was dropped.

Last night's episode was pretty good, the comic book shop and the ending were great. As someone else said, that was definitely one of the first endings in a while where I didn't want it to end.

Micah was in the 2nd or 3rd episode for about 45 seconds when Tracey showed up looking for Niki.

I'm sure Claire "does" die, but like we have seen plenty of times in Season 1, once her powers kick in she can be brought back from the post-mordum (sp) state. Remember in season 1 where she was actually dead, and once the doctor pulled the stick out of her skull her body healed itself in the morgue. It's happened to Peter also.

Interviews have said that they want Peter to struggle w/ being a hero w/o his powers. And when asked if Peter has his powers back in the episodes they are currently writing, they responses by saying something like "we can't answer that, but Peter won't have his powers in this episode (referring to 11/24's episode) and the next."

Next week's episode is the 11th episode, and Arthur is supposed to be out of the picture by the end of the 12th. So I'd assume Peter does get his powers back then, I really hope so at least because the show is more fun for me when Peter has powers. Though I have been over Nathan for a while, he is the new whiny bitch

I feel sorry for Claire's mom. This will be 2 or 3 times she's thought Claire was dead and HRG pulled the same shit too. When Lyle dies she's going to just be sitting in the family room waiting for him to come home since it always seems to happen.

I find it strange that they are going after Claire seeing how she supposedly has the "cure." But why did Arthur turn Hiro into a 10 year old instead of taking his powers?

Not sure if this is something to look into as in maybe Hiro knows all about the formula but can't remember it?

Also you can look at it why Kaito put Claire into HRG's hands.

The previews for next week made me want more than anything to know what is going to happen. All you saw was Claire, no other characters. I think they should always do previews like that haha

From what interviews have said... Arthur was actually wiping all of Hiro's memories Hiatian style (don't ask me how he got that ability - don't know) so that he wouldn't remember anything. But, while he was wiping Hiro's memory & dealing w/ Ando, he noticed the Eclipse painting w/ distracted him.

Ando & Hiro then ported out before Arthur could finish the job.

anyone else notice how they are basically pushing the reset button on the series?

imo its a good turn... just kill off/get rid of what ever the plot holes were and come back from that writers strike fiasco (aka season 2)

also.. it might just be me but i wouldn't say things are plot holes until the end of the whole series... i mean what could be a hole now may be explained later (probably not though)

only thing i have to say about that episode is:

"Hory Crap!"

The idea was to have Monica fight the dude who gets stronger by peoples fear (forgot her name) and Mya was supposed to be the key to stopping the virus. With the strike both their plots went away and they were rendered useless.

I was wondering the same thing. She seems two faced. Anyway, I think next week is her last week anyway so they probably won't go into much detail. Just gives more reason for Sylar to go back to being evil. This time though he knows multiple ways of stealing powers.

I believe at the car rental place Elle was mostly trying to get Gabriel to think for himself. He seems to be toyed with, originally be Primatech to be evil and then to be good with Pinehearst, so she just wanted him to be himself for once. That's how I saw it...most other ways to see it seem stupid, lol.

I thought other than the Claire/HRG and Matt/Ando/Hiro scenes the entire episode was a step backward momentum-wise. The interaction between Peter as always was awesome... but the whole "Daphne's Dirty Secret" reveal was pretty stupid and anti-climactic. It also feels out of place.

this and the last episode have been the best of season 3, imo.

i've also decided to stop looking for consistency, less heartache and confusion that way.
