What exact is Elle's motives? It doesn't make sense to me.

At the car rental place she is turning Sylar evil again.

Then at the house she feels bad because she turned Sylar evil.

She's always been trying to please the company/her father , she now has found someone else who is just like her, and in a way if she's able to make him think for herself then she too will be brave enough to do so. She just needs someone else to help her get on her path to freedom.

That's the feeling I'm getting from her. Rather than "Turning Sylar evil" it's more "Breaking away the commands of power"

This week's episode was the best so far this season. I'll only be happy with Hiro's storyline if he mentions some video game references(He mentioned Chrono Trigger in his online blog during season 1! He said Charlie was his Marle :D)!

My woman and I were wondering about the whole eclipse thing to and Adam; it makes no sense. He got his powers at the start of season 2 with that eclipse yet never had them taken away with all the others? Another funny thing about the eclipse is at the beginning of season one everyone saw the eclipse at the same time even though Hiro and Ando were in Japan and the rest of the cast was in the US; WTF?

Mohinder is a bug man in peter's future (years from now) yet recently he was stripped of his powers where he slid out *shudders* nude from his web with no scales or anything.

WHAT

You can't tell me the butterfly effect is controlling eclipses now. Please please don't let this be a gaping plot hole and let it be a "Reset powers back to naught and start again" thing.

Also, if eclipses make powers disappear temporarily (we're still in an eclipse) wouldn't everyone have known it from before?

Also! Eclipse happening in Kansas, California, and Haiti at the same time (correct me if I'm wrong but don't you only see them in particular spots?)?

Also! Total Solar Eclipses don't happen very often (partial are common)

Then again this is a show where people can fly so meh.

Time travel is never done right...never. The best you can do is minimize the plothole, but no writter should try to deal with this unless they can think of a good idea the multiple paradox it creates.

also depends on what time traveling theory they are using (Grandfather Paradox etc.) But regardless freaking hard to do time travel correctly, so just as long as they make it interesting, i have no problem with it (ie. hiro faking ando's death was kind of amusing)

Also the daphne thing was strange i agree. I wasn't expecting her "Past Life" to be a cripple. But it does make sense that she got the ability to move again and wouldn't want to go back to that. But I thought that it was something much different.

well.. if the next season has to do with the "Hunt" for the people with powers then they kind of have to get their powers back... unless they are going to add new characters.

and hopefully they dont keep the eclipse thing a plot hole and explain why the older people didnt lose powers before...

Just watched the episode on nbc's site, was pretty good. Loved the scene where HRG just wrecks powerless Sylar and Elle, I hope they don't kill him off.

Seems like Ando has grown a pair over the last few episodes, was cool to see him with a power, even if it did feel a little cheesy. Hope to see him come into his own one way or another and being just as able fighter as (badass) future Hiro.

Edit: Hory Sh*t at that last scene with HRG and the sniper rifle.

The Eclipse only temporarily takes away powers. Once it's over they'll have the powers back.

HRG continues to beat the living shit out of Gabriel and Elle next episode. Elle dies.

Also, I'm fully expecting Mohinder to start having the scales come back when the Eclipse comes back. Hiro and Claire are there with Arthur, Peter, and the Haitian, so it's very possible that they help Mohinder. He's not supposed to retain the scales.

I'm thinking he will. If the eclipse passing means everyone gets their powers back, then he'll turn back into whatever again.

Was referring to a few episodes ago, when Hiro goes forward in time, and see's future him confronting an (alternate?) version of ando, Hiro draws his sword and gets struck down by a red lighting bolts from Ando's hands. The same episode where they showed a timeline where you could just buy whatever power you desired, iirc.

I realize it was just an alternate timeline, but still thought it was cool.

Yea I did word it improperly, I actully just caught up on season 3 online a couple of weeks ago, don't watch much television aside from Lost and BSG.

The biggest problem when they use it for trivial thing like this is that it get really annoying when they don't use it for something important later.


Time travel in heroes is not restricting enough, and they never addressed any paradox created by the multiple timeline.
