I wouldn't have minded Sylar dying if Claire died too, but it was just way too obvious neither of them were going to die.Hiro was definitely the best part of that episode.

For the most part I liked last nights episode. Some things made no sense or were just lame, Sylar starting to kill Elle at the end and the "death" scenes for Claire and Sylar. Other parts were awesome like the "Bad Man" scene.
I also really liked the scenes with Noah and Sylar, at least until the loldeath scene.
Actually it does make sense, we know that Noah has hated Sylar for a long time. It just got worse after what Sylar did to Claire at the begining of the season, then Claire gets shot and her ability isn't working. At that point he just snapped he was going to kill Sylar no matter what it took at that point. Quite frankly I'm surprised that he didn't try to dismember/decapitate him instead of just slitting his throat. The HRG and Sylar scenes were all pretty craptastic. HRG killing Sylar makes sense. HRG slaughtering him like livestock behind a grocery store does not.
I wish Sylar would die. I hated him through seasons 1 and 2, and part of 3. Then I started liking him. Now I no longer like him. He just doesn't make a very good villian in my opinion.
I hate Sylar, I like Gabriel. I was really hoping Peter would struggle more with the hunger this season, and if he got his powers back, he'd repossess the hunger again as well, but as the episodes fly by, that just seems like wishful thinking.
With some of the story shifts so far, it does seem to clarify some of the future events in the alternate timeline. Just a few more events and I think the scar will be revealed
[In an interview] the writers even said that Peter had become too powerful & that there was no challenge for him anymore. So I'm assuming that when he gets his powers back they are gonna make him start from ground zero so that they can control what powers he gets back. You know he will get back some of his basic skills like flying, regeneration, mind reading, time travel, ect... because he needs to be powerful enough to go toe-to-toe w/Sylar in one season. W/they have to eventually do
Not sure if he'll get time travel back. Hiro being the only one who can snipefest port people around works best and just take Hiro into a role more like that instead of always having like 20% of an episode based around him. They could do this by making him "grow up" again and he has more of a sense of duty to his job than being a hero, thus he's only called into/brought into the Heroes storyline on special occasions than being the guy with the most screentime.
He probably will, even if it's by accident. Empathic Mimicry makes it too easy for Peter, and the characters are all intertwined too well not to miss out on each other for too long.
I don't think he 'snapped' at Claire getting shot at all. He simply realized that Sylar's powers were gone and he had an opportunity to take him out. As far as he knew, Claire was going to recover since it was just a minor wound. Even after she was shot he was thinking rationally and told Sandra not to go to the hospital to avoid questions. He showed right then and there that he was still focused on staying under the radar. Killing someone in a very public place and in a very gruesome manner is not exactly a solid way to do that. I can understand the emotion and brutality of the scene, but the fact he didn't try to hide it at all doesn't fit with the character imo.
Everyone is talking about the Hiro scene transporting everyone as being the best scene, but I think my favorite of the season was the Seth Green line "There’s a legend I heard from a guy at a convention, who heard it from a dude, who heard it from ANOTHER dude that one more 9th Wonder story exists, and Mendez gave it to a bike messenger the day he died..." That was fucking hilarious, perfect type-casting, and so in-character it couldn't have been better.
Seth Green working at a comic book shop is definitely awesome, before last week, I never imagined him showing up in this show.
Although that is probably the last time Seth Green will appear on the show, it would be great if he showed up more, just for the hell of it.
The Deus Ex Machina via Hiro was great and totally unexpected. I have to admit that I'm really tiring of pretty much all the characters though. The Parkman/Speedster(I can't even remember her name) romance is so retarded. It's just gotten to the point where I hope they all die. Here's to hoping it gets better when the Jeph Loeb stories run their course.
I'm getting upset at how fast they throw away themes. The Peter - Hunger theme was destroyed within an episode. Sylar's turn good seems to be gone now as well. The Eclipse was hyped for 2-3 episodes and did almost nothing except piss people off. I just don't get it.

agreed 100%
It just seemed sloppy to me. Then again the whole season has been pretty sloppy.
Don't forget the before-season promos about all the badasses from level 5 that were escaping. Seriously? They were worried about Flint? He can barely tie his shoes. Jesse and Knox may have had some potential, but they relegated that story to the comic. I don't even know what the German's power was. The redneck can turn his hands into metal. Wow. The vortex guy at least did something cool but he wasn't even evil anyway. The only worthwhile one was Eric Doyle.
This season would have been much better if everyone else just went away and HRG & Sylar were forced to work together and hunt down someone from level 5 each week.
So we can confirm that the Haitian doesnt just emit an aura of no powers for anyone? He has to actively surpress people's powers?
And does Claire's infection cover everyone that was complaining about claire not insta-dying during the eclipse?
Also god damn Nathan. Didn't see that coming, he usually says something gay that makes people think he's a good person then turns around and does the opposite. Finally say's something he believes and it turns out to be him joining Pinehearst >.>
What do you guys think?
