He does not eat the brains, he just usually isn't able to repair people after splitting their head open and prodding around their brains...most people die from it.

I'm really confused at the whole Peter/Nathan mini storyline at the moment. What the fuck is Linderman doing? I thought he died at the 'hand' of DL, and what does Peter mean "I hope someday you'll understand why I did this...". Did he maybe mess with Nathan's mind to make him think God fixed him but then why would Linderman show up and Nathan say "You're the one who healed me."

Well, what I'm thinking is Nathan wanted to reveal the fact that people have special powers and such, but the Peter of the future (where the problems are) doesn't want that to happen, and realizes for the greater good, he must kill his brother.
