Peter got his powers back, Sylar got owned by Claire, and Doyle had a bad-ass moment (and was the only villain to not get killed).

Knox dying by Tracy, the soldier dying by Knox, were by far the weakest moments for me. Totally unnecessary. Meredith's setup was also awful.

Nathan's turn was pretty good. The exchanges between him and Peter are always awesome.

Funny fact - Last episode Peter told the Haitian to go after Sylar. Where the hell was the Haitian this whole episode?

Good point. I wonder if Mohinder got a different power from injected himself. Would he magically lose his powers as well with that injection? If it takes away powers as well as gives them, then they should've kept it all along instead of throwing people in level 5 they could've just given them the injection. I am not so sure it takes them away.

Funny fact - Last episode Peter told the Haitian to go after Sylar. Where the hell was the Haitian this whole episode?

Maybe he was following Sylar but Sylar locked him out when he put the building on lockdown.

I thought the episode was pretty damn good overall, certainly one of the better this season. Seemed like certain things were rushed (Army dude getting killed, Knox's death, Track just pop'ing up when needed, Meredith). Hope Larter actually becomes a good character next Volume and has some story... she better be hell bent of fuckin up Nathan.

The scene where Peter got his powers back was pretty awsome & I was rooting for him all the way! But next volume better have a Peter vs Nathan fight... Only sad thing about all this is that Nathan is now gonna have to die... cause there are gonna be a bunch of pissed off ppl wanting to kill him now.

Preview to the first episode of Fugitives seemed pretty terrific, cant wait

Definitely can't complain about that finale, wrapped up this season nicely for how little time they had. As usual, I have high hopes for next season, but I have every season and have been greatly let down. Oh well, I can't stop watching.

If I had to guess, Claire's (and other specials) powers remain inhibited when that particular spot in the brain is damaged/interrupted, but Claire's powers being what they are, just recovers as soon as that damaged is removed.

However, a bullet is much more than just a tick or piece of glass in the head. Bullets' greatest damage comes from the air around the bullet, which creates a ballooning effect inside the target, tearing apart more tissue. When the bullet passed through Arthur Petrelli's brain, the effect it created would have torn apart the inside of his head, much more than the bullet had shown. If this is the case, the portion from which his powers originated could have been blown out of the back of his head. If so, he ain't comin' back from that.

I learned about ballistics, but am hardly an expert, so my explanation might not take good shape. To sum it up, the bullet does more damage in the body than is visible, and could have blown out the portion of the brain which would have allowed him to recover.

I doubt it's a contract issue, iirc there's still a 'third' triplet. So chances are Tracy will be killed off early on and we'll see the third Ali Larter.

Would be funny if the Ali Larter that picked up Suresh ended up being this "third".

Hmm, I don't think it was said to be the other guys kid, just that they had had an affair. I recall finding it odd Parkman would dump his wife and kid because I had thought the kid was still Parkman's.

When Maury locked Matt and Nathan in his mind prison thing in S2, Matt saw his wife holding a baby. He justified leaving by saying the kid wasn't his, but I think he knows it actually is (read her mind and found out it was, is pretending it wasn't...something along those lines).

Or maybe she wasn't even sure to begin with. But it also could be a defense mechanism of sorts. It's just completely possible for the baby to have been his.

The direction they are going w/ Nathan... he is turning out to be worse then Arthur & his motives. Arthur at least had an objective and didn't come off directly as a "bad guy." Yes, he definantly was one, but he came across as level headed and had a plan of what he wanted. The end scene w/ Nathan really showed him all bent on revenge, as I don't see any other motive behind what he is trying to do. So I just hope there is some "plan" behind what he wants to accomplish and he doesn't turn into some stereotypical bad guy

The writers already said in previous interviews that you will learn more about Sylar's past in "Fugitives." And the have casted somebody for Sylar's mom & dad... so we all know Sylar is alive

Well they certainly tied up a lot of messy plotlines with all the grace and intelligence I've come to expect from Heroes of late. And they even laid out the setup for the next season as bluntly as possible. I guess it was necessary for a bit of housecleaning after all the convoluted plotlines, so maybe theres hope for the next installment (which I'm sure was said a year ago).

Still, I'm giddy well beyond reason for President Worf - I can't say I mind the relentless poaching of Star Trek alum. Myabe they can bring back Wil Wheaton.

Don't forget Doctor Who. John Barrowman or David Tennant would kick ass. Tom Baker more so, but I just don't see him doing it.

I don't know if they cast Sylar's mom, but John Glover (Lionel Luthor on Smallville) was cast as Papa Sylar.

Man, for how much they hyped up Knox the first half of the volume he really turned out to be a let down. What a waste. I did like how Nathan was able to go toe-to-toe with him though, since he had no fear. There was just so much more they could have done with him... and Knox >>> Flint by far.

Nathan's experiences don't feel like they were drastic enough to warrant the transformation he's undergone in two episodes. The incident in Haiti does not explain the sudden hatred towards his brother, and why he went from "I want everyone to have powers for a safer world" to "I want everyone with powers locked up for a safer world."
