Heroes Season 3

I thought this episode was better than the entire last volume combined.

The crash was an interesting plot twist. First thing when I thought when I saw the crash, Lost meets Heros. I was kinda interested in where they were being taken though. Speaking of interest, I thought Sylar's dad was going to be a beastmaster with all those creepy stuffed-animals around. My anticipation is the new abilities they thought of for the rest of the people on the plane. I always liked the ability that "future" Peter, in the last season, had where he could put people into other bodies. Oh, and did anyone else see the face on that Black Ops guy? He looked at Sylar like he just raped his sister or something. I lol'd.

Since when are Peter's power's based on physical contact? I suppose that must have been a function of his powers having been artificially restored.

And why the hell was he so worried about being sucked out of the plane? He could still fly, last I checked.

I'm doubting the 1 ability clause for Peter. Maybe just a learning curve, but I don't think they're going to gimp him.

Me too. My guess on things is that Peter mostly has his old ability, but he lost all the powers he had acquired over time before. So now what he has is strength, flight and healing since Claire touched him. With Hiro's power "removed" and possibly forever Peter won't be able to get time travel back and thus won't be completely hax. Sylar has better control over his abilities and will have more in most cases, especially with the retcon of Peter's acquisition being through touch (as previously it had a short range I believe) as long as Sylar doesn't let Peter touch him.

As well, even if there there is a gathering of the heroes to join up and fight together, their big foe is a collection of special forces units with powers (as shown with Ali Larter getting caught) so it's ok for an individual hero to be strong enough to take out a bunch of them.

The question is what Sylar will be doing this season. He's originally a bad guy, then a victim, then a good-ish guy and back to a bad guy. Where will he go this time?

Peter has multiple abilities still, just flight and pyro techniques aint gonna help u escape those shackles considering he was bound to the brim.... But yeah, his powers are like Aurthur now... he is still on his way to being way OP again... fuck yeah... he can fly, he can freeze shit, super strength, regeneration... hell yeah.. And about him not having multiple powers because he wasn't seen flying letting himself being tossed out of the plane. Peter has always been a bitch and this was no exception. He has spurts of being awesome like Sylar, but overall he is still a bitch... Even in S1 and S2 he didnt use certain powers when it was obvious, its just the type of character he is imo. Also, if he only can only absorb one power at time then that will make Sylar the only crazy OP one and pretty much indefeatable... and that won't ever happen because they have to allow somebody to grow as he does

Sylar is just too badass for words, He is just crazy awesome and I have a feeling we may get to see a Peter vs Sylar showdown this arc. Episode was super good and I'm pumped for next week

Good and bad since he raped the shit outta the govt dudes but also restrained himself from killing his foster dad. Probably be sort of like Dexter, but not really.

Uhh, well, the guards have powers of their own (as shown when they apprehended Tracy) and they're TRAINED MILITARY against Peter the man-nurse. Peter is not Neo, he does not know Kung Fu, yet.

I didn't see them use any powers when they apprehended Tracy. If you mean the nullifying of her freezing, I'd guess its just the way their clothes are made.

Yeah I don't see how that was nullified by powers at all. Guards had no powers as you saw in the Sylar scene, otherwise I'm sure he woulda sniffed it out of them / they woulda used against him.

the guards dont have powers, they just have special suits/clothing to null the freeze effect.

She still used her power though. The armor started to freeze then stopped. I am leaning towards the fact that Nathan has designed these guys to be able to combat what he knows. I would bet the suits are flame resistant as well.

They guards don't have powers, unless they show they have some later.

Obviously they are using the previous information they have from the Company/Primatech/Pinehearst to help their men capture the people more effectively.

There is proof when they first grab Nikki, the suit obviously wasn't affected by her cold. The head man then said tie up her hands. Second with Sylar they shot him with 3 darts and then immediately went for his hands and his head. Nathan even got onto him saying you needed to but 2 in the back of his head. With Peter they were not sure what powers he had so they did it dirty style with him being somewhat vulnerable.

If Peter touches Sylar, I bet he will only get Sylars original power, not get every power he has. (which really wont do much)

The prisoner who got sucked out will probably remain an anon. I like the "don't take names and just whack people off" strategy they have for reverting to the original plan of rotating heroes though. Enjoy HRG and Sylar in combat racking up the body counts.
