Healer came to DH through another member who sort of "adopted" him. He was a DH member long before he was HNM ready, or even a useful level. He was a nice guy though. Always trying to help out if he could. Couldn't really fight with us, so would help us get ToD's and odds and ends of things, and was constantly asking intelligent and relevant questions to try and make himself a better player. It's sad he didn't even mention the person who got him into DH in the first place.
Some people in DH were resentful of him being in there, and would call him noob, and tell him to get out and he doesn't belong, come back when you're 75, etc, but I thought most people treated him well enough.
I don't remember the details on him leaving, other than I think the couple of people who were relentlessly mean just got to him. I could probably refresh my memory with a little forum digging if needed, but it's really not important. He left, was gone for awhile, and came back after putting in a lot of work to make his char "DH ready". I remember being one of the people speaking for the guy when he reapplied officially to DH.
But the guy had changed. I don't know if the same people were sending him tells constantly, or what happened, but he had developed something of an attitude where he was no longer willing to learn. Yuni already said as much, and that was exactly the sort of attitude he brought back into DH.
No, DH is not long on pleasantries or patting one another on the back or hugs or whatever non-HNM ls do. We are here to do a job, and we try to get it done as quickly and efficiently as we can. That means not saying "I'm sorry to bother you, but would you mind casting silena on me whenever you can. So sorry to put you out." but probably something more along the lines of "silena" and if it doesn't get taken care of then the yelling begins.
Bottom line, Healer#1 was a good guy, and while I wouldn't say he was a top of the line player, he was always willing to help and improve himself and could potentially be an asset.
If he hasn't calmed down though and taken a step back and reassessed himself and you have Healer#2 applying to your LS, follow the advice of other posters before me.
