All 7 applied to my linkshell today in one mega app. From the linkshell called Thespecialists. Any info would be appreciated.

Don't know them but in general i would be very careful with group applications >_>
Never heard of them or their LS. I guess nothing bad to report is good in a way. A couple of their names look vaguely familiar, but more than likely just brushed past them as I wander around.
These seven people previously were in a linkshell together by the name of Pugnacious, if that helps anyone remember. Also, I believe the member's name is Punlsher, with an "L" instead of an "I". Edit: Trow's full name is Trowbear and Booz's full name is Thebooz. Perhaps the correct names will jog people's memory.
For a couple years, my linkshell -- Allied Linkshell -- teamed up with Pugnacious to do events like Sky under the Chimera pearl. Therefore I'd expect that anyone from my linkshell would be able to provide feedback, though not many of them use these forums.
I'll say up front that I have nothing negative to say whatsoever regarding Rangerone, and I'm sorry to see him leave the server.
As far as feedback on the rest of them, it would depend on what the focus is in the linkshell they are applying to. My linkshell is predominantly a social linkshell, and therefore my viewpoint and that of most of my linkshell mates is from that background. I don't want to speak for them, but I will say that, as the leader of our limbus group -- which included at one time or another several of these people -- I frequently received complaints from our social players regarding this group. The general feedback I received was that these guys were more focused on receiving equipment for themselves than in supporting the group, to the degree that when they received equipment they no longer attended.
Again, this is the feedback I received regarding some of these guys. From my point of view, I didn't think that most of them were more or less selfish than your average player, or more or less dedicated; it was merely in comparison to the tight knit family atmosphere that our social members expected that their attitude raised concerns. Nor do I particularly think that any of them are more or less skilled than your average player. If you have a typical endgame linkshell, they will likely fit in as typical endgame players, albeit with probably less experience on Kings or HNMs than some of your applicants. If you have attendance based lotting rules for all of your events, which notably my group did not have at that time, then you will likely not have much problem with them.
If you would like feedback on specific members of this group, you are welcome to PM me. As they applied as a group, however, it seemed more appropriate to provide feedback for the group as a whole as well. I singled out Rangerone because I never heard a bad word spoken about him by anyone, and thus some of my comments do not apply to him at all.
Likewise I have nothing bad to say about Rangerone. He shows up for events and I have no issues with him.
Punlsher and Trow I don't remember very well but also nothing negative though others may remember things I don't.
Sageru, Killsyko, Starless and Booz like Vhess said all seem to be only interested in obtaining gear for themselves. As I recall all of them had some attendance issues and they all also left shortly after getting items which were rare within the shell at the time. So quite a few people were upset with them.
I also remember there being some issues with Booz and dynamis but I can't remember the entire story.
Plus the fact that I registered just to badmouth them either says something about their character...or mine.
Um only really had major interaction with Booz, was a nice guy the specialist was a EU endgame linkshell on Ifrit. Booz and 6 other people were the leaders nice enough guy, knew him in Ackz haven't dealt with him in ages tho.
only thing I can say bad about most of these guys is the way this was handled. No notice to a ls that 2 of them were sackholders in. Wish you guys would have given us a little warning other than, "hey we applied elsewhere this morning", and the rest of the shell finds out through a BC on BG. Seems shady to me, but I wish them luck in the application process. Nothing but good things to say about any of them other than that. They have been staples in LS events for atleast my duration in the same shell. Willing to take any of the jobs they have at 75, and able to change in an acceptable amount of time if need be. Willing to help out people in shell with nms, events, etc when they are free.
I've known all these guys for 3yrs + , been in numerous shells with them (thespecialists, pugnacious, hca), met booz and trow irl. All these guys are great players and friends and help ls out with anything. Not sure why they are being called selfish and lootwhores, they not at all like that, they showed up for events and in return got to lot things just as in any normal shell lol. I'm sorry to see them leave and i'd probably be trying to go with them but ls event times don't fit with my schedule. These are great guys and players and would make a nice addition to your ls. I have nothing but good things to say about these guys.
Forgot to add this: reason for these guys and myself to leave allied/pug alliance (as was stated they left after getting some items) is we started a ls that better suited our times, events we wanted to do, etc. Wasn't about getting items then leaving cause we got some items we wanted.
I think the reason people dont inform their current shell that they are applying elsewhere is so they dont get treated differently (read as: bad) after they drop the news. Also people will use that as a reason that they cant continue to help them or let them lot despite them earning it. Even if someone put their heart and soul into a LS for 3+ years, as soon as people get wind that they are leaving, people wont let them lot anything even if they've earned it. Which is perfectly understandable. It's human nature to want items that you help people get to stay with you in the same shell. Sure it may seem shady that they didnt tell you ahead of time, but it's really a precaution so they dont get jewed after all the work they've put in.
booz is an awesome player. idk the rest but he is a great person and player and would be a benefit to any ls he joins. was a sackholder in the dynamis ls he was in for a few years and never had any problem with him
