Yeah, you're paying for better use of your gil, but not actually buying the gil. You earned the gil yourself, if you want to exploit the server transfer then that's a totally different thing imo.

The main problem with buying gil is that it supports RMT and hackers.

Paying SE for a server transfer to finish off a relic is not even in the same ballpark, Wizerd.

Except for the fact that there is the three month cool down period in the mean time. This move could potentially screw you down the road. The server you transfer to could have it's currency prices sky rocket and your old server have them plummet.

If anything, this is more analogous to trading foreign currency in the stock market than RMTing gil.

I don't really see what good can come from this. He or any1 else would just make a mule on the relatively cheapest server, and destroy that server's currency market.

To Megido: Just curious, do you move around just cause of other economies seem more appealing instead of just sticking to your own server economy? Or is this a new trend for relic upgraders? Cause I know of someone who has done this as well.

This has been around the day server transfers became possible. People have been moving around from server to server to get the best prices and resell to servers in demand. I'm not the first one to put this idea to work.

On subject I have mules on 3 servers and all I see is byne everywhere. It's in every bazaar I check. Silver and shells are pretty much out there until another pair of gaiters or heca cap drops. Then there is a buying frenzy for a couple days. Very very difficult for self funded relics in this day and age with linkshells 30-40 members deep using their collective efforts to fund one of their members completely.

How are you going to go about getting attestation & fragment? I'm guessing there's very few NA Dynamis LS that aren't "sponsored" nowadays except dreamland runs. You should try hanging out with JP Dynamis LS as I don't know a single JP group on my server who does "sponsors." If you're in South Sandy with a mule, you may be able to purchase a lot of O. Bronze for a decent price after a JP group finishes their run. Same goes for T. shells & Windy.
