Something I've been wondering for a while -

The last couple times I've read through the comic, I can't seem to remember where Rorschah's line is (The world will look up and shout "save us..."). He says something similar on the very first page...but I can't seem to remember the exact wording being anywhere else in the novel. Anyone know exactly where it is?

That page is where they took the line from. He never says it in the comic exactly as it appears in the trailer. I wouldn't be surprised if they just had him say it that way for the trailer and the full line shows up in the movie.

Hmm, I'm too lazy to read this whole thread, anyone willing to point me to where I can read the comics and such online? Or is anyone willing to explain the plot to someone that knows absolutely nothing about it? It looks interesting, but the discussion I've heard about it just makes me go "wtf?"

Can download the comic via bittorrent (I know mininova finds some). May need a program such as "CDisplay Comic Reader" to view the files. (I can post straight links if people are too lazy to google, just not sure if we are allowed to post links to torrents).

Apparently this movie might not happen? Saw this while doing my usual net trawling.

Summary:
1) Fox had movie rights at one point, but didn't act on it.
2) Warner made the movie after X amount of time passed due to Fox doing nothing.
3) Fox claimed they still had rights, so Warner can't release movie.
4) Joint release may be possible, but Warner loses money either way.

this happened a few months back last I heard about it, considering they still have the march release date set I'd assume the movie is still a go? and who cares if Warner loses some money, TDK gave them a tentpole for the next 3 years.

It's on the first page of the first issue, third panel. "The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout 'save us!'...and I'll look down and whisper 'no.'"

Can't wait for this! The graphic novel was great, even though I wasn't entirely satisfied with the ending (mainly about one character's fate), and I think that everyone should read it.

Hopefully the Fox thing won't screw up the movie's release date. March seems far enough away as it is.
