I approve of this new Alextrasza. Also hooray for faction leaders/important lore characters getting unique models.

Yea, I love it. Totally an unnecessary thing to do but I appreciate them doing it. I hope the trend continues to some other important characters too.

Depends on what time in the lore you are if he's dead or not. He's not dead at the start of WotLK, he dies "halfway" doesn't he?

To coincide with the upcoming new talents and mechanic changes for classes in the next patch, we are making some adjustments in existing raid content to provide a smooth transition when the upcoming patch is released. The creatures and bosses in raid dungeons that were introduced in The Burning Crusade will have their health reduced, and most will have their standard melee damage output reduced as well, but their spell and ability damage are not being changed. These changes are being made in all raid dungeons from Karazhan to Sunwell Plateau as well as the outdoor encounters of Doom Lord Kazzak and Doomwalker. On top of this Illidan is also doing his part and will stop casting Shear on players.

-30%hp is pretty big on some bosses... several mil hp off sunwell bosses, easy mode go go?

They probably want to avoid balancing/testing the 3.0 patch around level 70 raids. Rather than spending a lot of time tweaking the content to make sure it's still beatable for the one month between 3.0 and wotlk, they can just nerf everything. -30% hp seems a little over the top thou.

I don't know why anyone cares, if your guild is saying LETS KEEP RAIDING TIL WOTLK COMES OUT at least you won't have to put as much effort into it or spend as much time (trash hp reduced too).

Faster raid clears if you already have it on farm, guilds who suck at the content will continue to suck at the content. Sounds fine to me.

Exactly.

Magic/raid damage not reduced = people still die to stupid shit (also conflag from twins, etc. will still wipe raids) = shitty players still dont win.
