Theres also a lot of items with the same name between the two games, but yeah if you didn't realize that. Wo0o0osh..

i realize that, i mean obviously wow took a lot from d2
but glyphs and skill runes came out pretty much around the same time, wonder if the two departments fought for the idea at all lol
So I raided for near 11 hours on sunday .. went sleep at like 5am, went work at 7:30am

Reminds me of the good ol ffxi "hnm camping" days.... *sniff sniff* ah the memories
(had to do it all in 1 day, raids reset in 24 hours for "testing purposes" ;/
Wasn't to bad... infact pretty dam easy mode, excluding the fact 3/4ths the people in raid had no clue what to do or even been in naxx before (like me).
Thank god engineering can make 2000 ammo in 1 box... over 10,000 shots fired the entire run... (and my 16 slot ammo bag is crappy)
Is there a new quiver/pouch out yet?
wooooooooooah so you really can change your spec whenever you want?
Is there a timer? a number of times you can do it? God would it be awesome to be farming as shadow and switch to disc if I see a rogue on the horizon.
There are likely going to be restrictions on switching. How would you like to face a warrior who could switch from Mortal Strike to Bloodthirst at will? I'm guessing it will be at minimum a 30 minute wait between switches, and never while in combat (or flagged for PvP).
It's been stated, I'll find a link if people really don't believe me, but it was basically (not word for word by any means):
You'll be able to switch any time you want, outside of arenas, and not during combat. You can switch up in the middle of a raid if you need to be prot for one fight then fury for the next then back or whatever.
Good to see a mmo company "cave" to the players like this and give exactly what we want without making it a hassle or restricting it much at all etc.
they're gonna have to put a time limit on it and make sure that any spells/abilities you use that you no longer have access to (water elemental for example) are removed as soon as you change specs
lemme find it, almost certain it said specifically that arenas and combat would be the only restrictions
Ehh this is all I can find quickly
It doesn't seem like it would be fair to allow, say, a Druid to be feral for one boss and resto for the next, but not to be able to run the flag as feral then go resto when someone else picks it up though.* The dual-spec system will be introduced in a content patch. The goal is to let you switch specs very easily in raid, even between fights ! However it won't be possible to switch specs in the middle of an arena match.
* With dual-spec introduced in the game, there are also discussions about an Itemrack-like mod being introduced to the default UI
I'll look more for the original quote I saw
im really pissed that they're not shipping it with wotlk, now we have to endure another bullshitty set of instances cause there's no tanks and no healers because both suck at leveling. spellpower and threat changes are cool but still =( this is something that should be going live with wrath, not 3 months later when everyone is 80
I just like the idea for when I'm farming shadow, and able to switch to disc if I see some of the other faction in the distance, just in case. That's all. Not in combat.

Post about dual specs, no cooldown, etc
You should have over two thousand gold on your primary by the time you hit Northrend, without even trying to hard. Even respeccing once every level is going to be affordable and yes, that's with buying your Dalaran Bear. There will be no shortage of tanks/healers at release, I fucking promise you.
