Because Mana Tap cost a GCD and was useless 90% of the time?
Starshards were lost but they got the new trainables, that's a fair tradeoff.

Mana tap? All blood elves lost mana tap, it was integrated into Arcane Torrent.
Especially since 90% of paladin tanking wasn't even viable until 60+ (pre 3.0) because of itemization. You don't necessarily learn a lot early on. Hell even in WotLK an ability paladins will use every 6s while tanking isn't even open until 75, thus hurting any attempts at practicing 80 rotations until you're 75+.
How big is this patch? It seems like the updater is trying to reinstall wow or this thing is 5-6gb.
It's a ~1.5G download but the installer uses 3x that for the backup/patch files in the update process, so count on needing 9ish gigs free to update your installation. This is a problem if you already have the beta client installed on a rapidly filling drive.
I already went over the lockdown thing, a rogue with a priest is going to be good enough early on to be fine if they're good.
And, it'll be a cycle just like tbc, early on malchazeen was badass for about 3 weeks then rogues were pretty bad for season 1 and part of season 2 when pallies were way more common. If holy pallies are worth a shit they'll be nerfed and rogue will come back into its own as it scales up with gear better than anyone.
But, regardless, shadowdance still allows for "you trinket you lose" gameplay, so rogues should be quite fine.
Anyone know how to hide the blizzard focus frame?
I read something that people with missing mounts will be getting an email describing how to get it back?
I already got fed up and bought another mount, but I still want my other one back, was wondering if anyone else has this problem or has gotten it resolved. I've put in numerous tickets and gotten nothing.
Also, instances weren't working yesterday for a good while? Is shit resolved yet? I won't be able to get on again for a while.
Also, I'm at a point where I can't fit everything I need into my hot-keys on my action bars. What's a good solution (add-ons or whatever?) So I can have everything key-bound rather than having to click stuff
Clicking=bad
The only things I click anymore are buffs.
For action bars I use dominos. Easy to config, set keybindings, etc.
About the focus thing, I meant along with my focus frame(aguf), the ugly blizzard one showed up too.
/script FocusFrame:Hide() works, I just put it at the end of my focus macros.
I got an in game mail today that contained all of the mounts and pets that I had learned since the patch, I'm guessing everyone got one so that should hopefully resolve the missing stuff issue.
Also if instances weren't working that most likely means the instance world server is down, similar to when any of the other world servers go down. I've had it happen to me a few times in the past, it usually doesn't last too long. This was a very large patch, and there are a lot more people playing right now than there have been for the last few months, so it's understandable that they have some issues that they need to work out.
edit: also how many spells are you putting on your bars that you are running out of space? lock is the only class that I've come close to having a problem like that with.
Oh yeah, that pet/mount thing was nice too. I finished my achievement last night(got about 10-15 pets), but everything I learned before then I recieved back. Now I get to resell them all for unfair prices on neutral AH
I am unable to keep my game in windowed mode on 1 laptop of mine, I can set it while in the game and it stays, but then if I logout/exit, my next login makes it fullscreen with the black border outline.
i'm a Disc Priest, so I have all my heals (Flash, Greater, Holy Nova, Penance, Renew, Binding Heal, Prayer of Healing, Gift of the Naaru), plus my toys (Pain Suppression, Inner Focus, Power Infusion) and my other random things (Dispel, Abolish Disease, Power Word Shield, +101 Spell power trinket, Fade, Psychic Scream, Hymn of Hope, Shackle Undead, Inner Fire)
Also, during PvP and Duels I like to have a lot of those spells self-casting, so I have macros for those that i constantly have to move around. And I also have spells that I use for soloing and PvP that I don't necessarily use for PvE, like Mana Burn, Shadow Word: Pain, Devouring Plague, Holy Fire, Smite, Mind Blast, Shackle Undead.
I also have my buffs....which I feel like i can keep in a side bar and just click before a dungeon or in between battles.
So yeah, I have a lot, and I'm only getting more from 64-70
You don't need separate binds for self casting spells. Just use auto self cast and set a self cast key like Alt or Shift.
