    You wouldn't know that though because you've demonstrably never picked up a book nor educated yourself on the matter. Let me guess, overweight housewife?

    time on ps2 version

    so since maint is up gonna try and see if this can't be figured out. ever since I moved to california, my time in ff is wrong. Real time that is. Dynamis glass is off, and if I type /clock it gives the wrong time.

    Note:

    My ps2 setting has the right time

    I changed my CC info to california

    My home address is listed in california on the content ID site

    Any guesses as to what I could be missing that's messing it up? Someone said I might need to reinstall FF on it to fix it, but I really don't want to have to do that if I don't have to.

    It's a small thing but always irritates me, and since I can't play anyways, figure maybe it can get fixed.

    Idk then. For me, in 4+ years, my ps2/3 has never adjusted for daylight savings.

    If you change the time on the brower ps2 does it change the time ingame? (bored and can't test cause of maint). IDC what time the ps2 thinks it is since I don't access that part, so if I put in the wrong time to make ff the right time that's fine with me.

    nvm just tried it doesn't work I'm still two hours off ><;

    you got me thinking though about the daylight savings. east coast is 3 hours off from cali. but if it doesn't take daylight into account then that might be why it's 2 hours off rather than 3. BUT that still doesn't help me figure out how to get it to register I'm in cali now not the east coast.

    That's odd, I guess I'm the only person with a PS2 clock that works right. when i /clock the RL time matches my PS2 clock. It DST jerks it 1 hour but i just turn DST on/off according to the season, all works properly.

    omg this just helped me figure out the problem! Thanks Thufir!

    So if you guys wanted to fix it:

    Go to your system configuration on the ps2.
    Get down to clock adjustment, but don't adjust that.
    Click the triangle button for Options.
    Keep tabbing down till you get to Time Zone.
    Switch it to your timezone :D

    Thufir is right though it doesn't adjust for daylight savings, so make sure you set the timezone off an hour.

    This whole time I was just adjusting the clock time, I didn't realize there was a timezone format ><;
