Well, I only said this because you said that you couldn't afford Salvage bodies. Three million Gil would do a lot towards one of those, and they'll do a fuckload more for you than some VIT on your BRD, which won't get hit through Utsusemi anyway.

Yeah, and if the cost of the Osode was the only thing keeping me from a Salvage body I definitely wouldn't even consider it. But there's another ~7M above that without even worrying about the Salvage pieces themselves. My point is just that the Osode is a decent upgrade available now, compared to the Salvage bodies that can only happen if I get involved with a competent Salvage group, get multiple drops, and somehow acquire a significant amount more gil.

If all those other stars align I'd have no hesitation in selling the Osode.

Nah, I just didn't think I needed to repeat every piece of Haste gear down in the PLD section again, I was trying to list the items I had more specifically for my PLD. Most of the time I got to come to an event as PLD anyway, it was usually for Dynamis or something, so I was playing PLD/WAR. That would be why the gear I listed there wasn't very PLD/NIN-oriented, I definitely wouldn't use a lot of that stuff for PLD/NIN.

Paladin: Forget the Tut. By doing campaign you can get Iron Ram pieces add alot of enmity and magic defense bonus which provides a nice stepping stone into pieces such as Homam, Koenig, or Valor. Cerberus Mantle is a nice back piece that is realistic. It provides a nice boost of enmity that will let you macro in boxer's mantle for shadow casts without losing the effect of the item like a high breath mantle would. I've also always preferred Trance Belt over warwolf, but that's personal preference.

Ninja: Perdu Blade for offhand probably the biggest realistic upgrade. If you can get the af1+1 pieces, Ninja Tekko +1 are a really nice weaponskill piece to have.

Body: Shura Togi, Temple Cyclas (Chakra)
Hands: Ochiudo's Kote (TP), Tpl. Gloves +1 (WS), Melee Gloves (Chakra)
Bandomusha Kote(easy to obtain) leave attack in for asuran use temple for boost macroo if you want.
Rings: Rajas Ring, Sniper's Ring, Jaeger Ring, Flame Ring Ulthalam'sRing and divisor ring if possible
Back: Forager's Mantle
Waist: Black Belt (TP), Life Belt (WS)
Legs: Byakko's Haidate (TP), Shura Haidate (WS) Usukane Hizayoroi(ws)
Feet: Dune Boots (TP), Melee Gaiters (WS) usukane suna ate(ws or fulltime i use it full time other than meele when i need to tank a chariot)

those are the things i would change and are all easy to obtain salvage cane be a low man some are ZNM and we have xolototoltolt wich is killable with 4-5
