Puddings took me 17 tries without TH. My other friend got it on his second.

Yellow Tail dropped after about 20-30 Dragons

I'm up to 105 so far without pudding dropping, with TH. Shit is annoying.

Took me about three days, (not playing all of each day, but still a good portion while watching TV and stuff) but I got all five Adamant Armors and I think about three Rainbow Puddings (that I kept) in the process.

If you've got the cash, farm Flan Princesses for your Puddings, they've got a much higher drop rate. (still crappy, but much higher crap!) I would use about 15 Sirens, then reset if I didn't get whatever item I was farming for at the time.

Then I just went ahead and beat the game, as I was getting anxious to actually play, rather than hit A a couple of times and look down occasionally while watching the Olympics. I'll get the Onion Sword and crap the second time through. Having Kain at the beginning of the game with 100+ defense is pretty fun.

What would be the point of getting more than one rainbow pudding? You can only complete the namingway quests once.

I'd say he was farming Pink Tail from princesses and got 3 puddings before he got the tail.

I found the developers room or w/e it is in the dwarf castle, some of the conversations there are pretty funny...

When you talk to the translator he tells you how they had to fix some stuff, but found "you spoony bard!" to be the right translation so they kept it.

I got one Pudding, completed the quest, then ended up getting two more while getting my 5 Pink Tails.

And why get more than one pudding? You can sell them for 100k gil each. Works wonders for buying Stardust to farm more Pink Tails.

Fighting the battle system team that kicks your ass was kind of funny... I was like OH SHIT NO I DIDN'T SAVE FOR LIKE 2 HOURS! and then you're just standing there again.. (it said Party Fallen like it does when you wipe and get a game over, so...)

Oh right duh forgot about pink tail XD Was just the way it was worded made me think you were actually targeting getting 3 puddings instead of getting them by coincidence. Hmm I suppose that is a better plan then, just didn't want to go back in there until I had enc-none available to speed up the travel time >.>

Well, New Game+ certainly brings up some interesting situations.

-Soma Drops transfer over, so I gave one to Tellah and so bosses got to face the wrath of METEOR!

-I didn't bother swapping out metallic gear in the Lodestone Cavern since I avoided all the fights with Safe Travel. Fighting the Dark Elf with metal gear before Edward dispels the stuff results in an insta-loss that goes into the cutscene. Good thing, since the Elf took his sweet time killing me the first time through.

-Since all my characters had Adamant Armor on, the Golbez fight was interesting. The speed boost made it so that rather than having two seconds before the entire party is paralyzed, I actually had several rounds of combat before Golbez did anything. It got to the point that by the time Rydia showed up and healed everyone, it only took two normal hits to finish him off. And since Adamant Armor gives you immunities to a bunch of status effects, including Death, Golbez's dragon actually didn't kill anyone in my party, so no worrying about reviving people. Golbez actually didn't do any damage in the entire fight!

Psh. "Treasure Hunter". Real men outfit their whole party with Glass/Adaman/CrysRing the old fashioned way. And Silver Shield on Rydia of course.

yea, im pretty much done with this game for now. All chars are lv99 and i have 2 pieces of Rare armor. 150 Red dragons and about 60 Flans with nothing. the gear isnt really worth it, imo. decided id rather start mass effect instead

I have no desire to struggle through some of the earlier levels again like I did the first time. The challenge was fun, but I beat it, and now it's time to kick the game's ass. Or it would be, if those Flan Princess bitches would give it up like the dirty sorority whores they wish they were.

Dark Knight Cecil can't equip Adamant Armor. Everyone else can, but you gotta wait until you're a Paladin to slap one on Cecil.
