q.q I really need to pay more attention to the cutscenes.
Thanks. I'll just make sure I pay more attention to future CSes.

Also, who all liked the opening they did for this game? It's awesome to me.
I just took a break from work and ran to gamestop and picked up a copy for $40. im so gitty. I feel like a little kid anticpating a present.
I need to bring my DS to work hahaha.
Cagnazzo killed me lastnight for my first death in the game. Turned it back on just now and Palom and Porom one shot Baigan with a Comet. He was far from hard yesterday but he took a good beating. This time I got off a Bluff'd Twincast before he used Reflect and it did 5-7k damage to each of his parts.
Got Cagnazzo down easily now this time too, lastnight he got off a Tsunami before I had a chance to cast a Thunder spell, but now that I had Palom or Tellah constantly prepared to dispel it it was easy as hell.
Is there a lot of battle differences throughout the game? Just got Rydiu and already there's Cecil's "Darkness" being more like ffxi souleater and not the aoe damage it was before, and Rydiu has white magic from the start...
Oh. And wtf is up with "Cessil"??? Ceeeeeee-sill pls. I had to do a double-take in that cs with Rosa in town when she says "Cessil".
I was also surprised when they said "Riddia" as opposed to "Rye-dia". They basically rhyme it with "Lydia" now.
Somewhat spoilerific link, so don't look if you've never actually played the game before. Found this pretty amusing.

Wait, Comet? What do you mean? I never could understand their Twincast ability. Also, I see that mages can learn new spells as they level up, but can melee type characters learn new abilities? Or do they have to rely on the augments?Cagnazzo killed me lastnight for my first death in the game. Turned it back on just now and Palom and Porom one shot Baigan with a Comet. Twincast for the actual twins (Palom and Porom) does either Comet or Mini-Flare. Both people have to be ready (full ATB bar) to use Twincast. When you assign the Twincast augments to people, the spell result depends on who you have as the Twincasters. I can't remember off the top of my head, but for example if you give Twincast to Cecil and Kain, their twincast ability is...i think some sort of party buff? I haven't assigned my twincasts for my NA version yet, so I don't know.
Melees don't get new abilities as they level, so new skills are augments only.
Well I just got past the part where

So I can't use Twincast again just yet. Q_Q
