The simplest answer in this case is to listen to explicit statements rather than interpreting a fraction of a screenshot that has traditionally not followed any in-game rules for equipment, mobs, or zones.

There are currently no plans to add more Dynamis areas. A different method will likely be used to get relic armor for the Treasures of Aht Urhgan jobs.

SE also said Nyzul relics would be more easily obtainable by the playerbase, but we see where that got us. They're basically a bunch of guys without plans ("at this time" as they might say), so Dynamis will pretty much be the lazy way out of getting them in the game.

Besides, won't ToA + WoG relic armor balance out city zone drops? (Of course, I highly doubt we'll see DNC/SCH relics in the next update; I'm even skeptical towards Group II merits for them.) If I'm not mistaken, it's currently 11 drops for Sando/Bastok/Windy and 12 for Jeuno, right? If so, let's say:

San d'Oria:
-DNC
-SCH
-COR
-PUP

Bastok:
-DNC
-SCH
-BLU
-COR

Windurst:
-DNC
-SCH

That would be 15/area, right? Only thing that might get messed up is the level symmetry (too lazy to check if there even is one right now). Like others have said, continuity issues can simply be resolved by making it a material drop or something dumb like a "tombstone/effigy/icon/replica shard" or "Dark/Shadow/Forlorn/Vanguard/Vauldeania/Zvahl Qdv. helm/backplate/Yagudo feather, etc." The only problem I see is evenly distributing DNC/SCH relics in Valkurm/Qufim/Bubu.

Someone dig up through the .DATs again and find the quote from the PUP AF crafting NPC when you receive your last piece where she specifically mentions a better set of armor that her relative can/could craft. That, in itself, seems to be enough to say it's not going to drop anywhere as a whole.

To tell the truth, there are more parts to this series of equipment, but my rrrelatives passed away of old age before teaching me how to make them.
In fact, I'm the only one left who deals in this type of gear now.
My family passed down all of our secrets to one more person, but apparently she chose not to make it her life's work.
Anyway, that just means that the equipment is extremely rrrare. If you want it, you are going to have to look hard...

I am sorry, but is that really a pup? It looks like blu af body on that person in dyna. Yes there is a pup in dyna (you can clearly see his automaton), but I still think that looks like a blu using a h2h weapon. Since SE has smn using scythe in these teaser pics, I don't think it is out of the question either. I just wish it wasn't such a small pic from the side.

My thanks, and I think that's enough evidence to support the speculation that Puppetmasters will be bringing Dhima Polevhia rare/ex items to relay them to her family member who is the only one left that knows how to make PUP AF2 or said sister/cousin/etc will appear somewhere as an NPC since there is no other Polevhia Mithra in the game yet.

1) Only Puppetmasters can wear Adaman/Gem Sainti.
2) Blue Mage and Puppetmaster AF share a lot of physical similarities in the first place.
3) That is a Puppetmaster-style Taj hat with a feather in it, not a Blue Mage turban/mask.
4) One would assume Blue Mage relic would have at least some blue in it.
5) Puppetmaster AF has a striped collar.

From the wording, it seems like you're going to have to get something or do something for the "lost" NPC in order to learn to the secret, and then get the necessary item[s] for the AF crafter. And the NPCs will be located horribly deep within Mamook/Halvung/Arrapago.

EDIT: Also, look at the zoomed image on page 5. Compare the side of the body piece to BLU/PUP bodies. There's the ring thingy that's on PUP.

I'm almost sure we will have the ability to merit that Modus Veritas recast timer. It will be the same as convert. -:20 per point. A rarely used JA for a rarely useful set of spells.

Probably gonna get a 5th charge, with the recast remaining the same.

Yeah, honestly, I've NEVER engaged one, it's just ingrained into old style dyna shells that Blm's handle stats, melees deal with grunts, etc, and I've only had that type.

Just one of those things that the melees get indoctrinated with, for the love of god, don't hit a statue, I actually had to go into my LS earlier and ask what happens.

Thing about the flavor text is it doesnt imply if this other NPC (for the PUP one) is the one who can craft AF+1, or AF2.. or maybe both lol...

With Magus AF+1 or AF2, its easy to have a superior version because the stuff the immrotals wear are 'standard-issue'.. but of course, it begs the question as to why NONE of existing high-ranking immortals are seen wearing any kind of higher quality BLU AF... they might work that into the story maybe..

COR.. i don't play it and no one seems to have mentioned the back story.. but they technically arent supposed to exist in large numbers anymore.. so maybe ruins from old Ephramad or something
