helices are terrible, sometimes I'll throw one when I can get triple weather and day bonus, but even then I'd probably be better off with a nuke.

the problem with them is that they damage too slow to be of any use in a party setting, and SCH's elemental skill is too atrocious to land them on HNMs with any sort of precision or damage to justify the MP.

I do love the idea that all the af2 will be questable and for a REASONABLE amount of alexandrite. If that + some minor synth items are all that is required, I am all aboard!

That's fantastic...unless you're in a dedicated Nyzul group etc...then it kinda screws you. If it's a brand new event, I don't know how the hell I could even do it as we barely squeeze 7-8 events into 5 nights a week as it is, and that's not counting XP/merits/missions/quests/farming/etc. Since most already are stuck doing Dynamis anyways it'd be nice if it just dropped from there, fuck the continuity of the storyline, make some shit up and throw it into the Dynamis tables.

What would be REALLY nice is if they gave all 20 jobs a quest for Relics as an alternative to Dynamis. However, that might actually be fun and convenient, and SE can't have that.

Needz to make the relics available via purchase with dyna currency, even if the number of coins/bills needed is rediculous, at least you KNOW that you are working towards a possibility. You could self-fund 100 dynamis' and never get that 1 item, but you could get most if not all the currency for a relic weapon...

Being on a 3 year waiting list behind 6 other people for 1 piece of ice zone armor that MIGHT drop every 3-6 months on average is fuckin mind-blowing. Make the pre-req to be clearing the zone at least 1 time or x amount of times.

BTW, 'quest' doesn't mean 'easy' or 'single party' (See: Divine Might, Storms of Fate, etc.) To me it means 'guaranteed.'

theres a possibility they might fix dynamis drop rates at the same time as adding these to the drop pool somehow..
or even if they didnt add these.. they might fix it since they did mention they were like considering it or something

If anything imo they should just up the drop rates of northlands and CoP dynamis.

Well, going by those 60 capes on the AH, it will be: Immortal's, Pirate's, and Busker's.

I'd prefer Manipulator's. I'd also prefer to not ever step foot in Dynamis again, but that PUP AF looks NOICE from what I can tell, and of course it would go right to me if I went with my LS.

I'm also interested in those possible SCH/DNC merits though. I don't recall there being many (if any) new spells/JAs from Tier 1 merits, but that SCH looks like it's using one. I'd settle for Helix potency/accuracy, I think it's better than most here give it credit for, but it really does need a buff considering it's supposed to be a SCH defining spell line, imo. Here's hoping for something to make DNC more useful on HNMs too, I'd love a Finishing move fill-up JA.

i got it. in order to get the new relics ToAU wants you to bring them back the old job relics! for pup af2 hat you need to bring them rdm af2 hate(i can see SE doing this)

but really i hope they fix the drop rate of the things that drop for the new relics(the shit you need 50,000 of) and maybe make you bring 100 per relic, that seems fair to me... i dont know who came up with that idea but its a good one!

edit: smn needs scythe A+ skill and give us gilo!
