You can't compare sriracha to hot sauce. Sriracha adds a bit of extra flavor to nearly anything. Hot sauce just drowns out the flavor of whatever you put it on and replaces it with burn.

sriracha is awesome. someone made me a couple bloody marys with it once and I will never look at them the same.

chili garlic sauce is also excellent though, and should not be underrated. I once fried tofu in it and the results were delicious spicy tofu chips. and I don't even like tofu.

Quick question on the Sriracha, I've had an open bottle for a year now. Does it ever expire? I'm guessing it has a large shelf life since its all mainly... salt? There's no expiration date on the bottle anyways.

I've had hot sauce bottles for over 2-3 years, so i bet Sriracha will last for a long time too, i used to eat a lot with hot sauce, what i did to keep my ass without suffering lol was to eat some yogurt after.

Sriracha sauce is the best fucking sauce ever! Pizza, burritos, nachos spaghetti, sandwiches, the list goes on. We go through two bottles a month of the stuff in my house. I bet it would even be good on icecream.
