I just discovered Sriracha

And also yes chili garlic sauce is good for most dishes, Sriracha is best in soups imo.

i used to use it on a trinidadian dish called mango chow. i dont really feel like explaining it, so you can google it, but its good. i even use it on curry chicken, but not that often since i dont eat curry chicken as much as i wish i could lol

Quick question on the Sriracha, I've had an open bottle for a year now. Does it ever expire? I'm guessing it has a large shelf life since its all mainly... salt? There's no expiration date on the bottle anyways.

Ya there is an expiration date on it. It kinda hard to see it though normally its up around the neck of the bottle and it basically looks more like and imprint onto the bottle more than anything. The bottle i have that i bought just 2 days ago has an expiration date of june next year so i think its safe you say you should be in the clear. My guess would be it depends on how well your local market rotates stock or how much of the stuff they sell.

Salt + vinegar, you'll be fine.

If anything I'd say it gets a stronger/spicier taste as it ages.
