Not sure if this goes here, if it belongs in another forum i'm sure it'll get moved. Anyways, I read what others had to say about this but the information is severely lacking. I was curious about different strats involved in fighting this. I know it can be smn burned, but can it be manaburned? can it be melee burned? Any info would be appreciated.

Bumping this because my interest in it has been (once again) renewed, and I still can't find any useful information on this.

More specific than the above questions, I'm wondering if this is soloable by a blm?

I've done this one a few times...basically we had a nin kite it (because it spams that HP down move...and double attacks almost every hit). We had a rdm grav it, a blm nuke it, DDs chasing it, etc. You'll probably want a whm for Stona. I highly doubt you can solo it...because it puts itself to sleep, and has a HIGH regen when asleep. DoTs will wake it up before it regens, but if it casts stoneskin and then goes to sleep you'll need to dispel that first.

Basically, as long as you have someone to kite it who can avoid taking any sort of damage, and a whm for stona, and ranged DD, and some sort of dispel, you should be alright. Don't bother trying to erase the HP down, because it spams it a lot.

I did this with a few SMN and BLM friends of mine on a whim. I was on BLU. The key to this we found was Gravity/Bind. I ended up kiting most the fight from spamming Heat Breath. I would imagine it could be duo'd by a RDM or SCH + BLM. BLM might be able to solo, but I don't know. I really enjoyed this fight, not many BC's where I get to break out the HP build on BLU.
