Err, I don't it like when devs put limits on how much you can lvl. SEGA does this with PSU in a way.. Sounds fun, but the stamina alone is enough to keep me out.

They are doing a maintenance in 15 minutes, here's to hoping they remove Stamina!
Going to bed anyways, Lv15 and I'm beat, lul.
Also, how the hell are there level 20s already? I used up 93 of my 100 stamina points and only got to 15. >_>
If you join a party only the person that starts the fight loses stam, so you just take turns and get twice as much.
And yeah I realized it was just the noob zones where you don't auto-aggro anymore.
woot just started the game

sama i will probably join you shortly :O
this game is fun, is it gonna be pay to play game or free?
Free with the usual cash shop, I think. as long as they remove this retarded stamina system before OB I'll play it more then any other korean grind mmo ever, this one is fun.
anyone gonna make BG guild?
highly doubt they'll remove the stamina system, it's the newest fad in korean MMOs heh. the point of it was to try to restrict addicts from killing themselves by overplaying, but everyone started making multiple characters so it didnt have any effect... but a lot of KRMMOs still add that shit anyways. imo its annoying but oh well lol
is it cash shop infested like the kr version?
Not yet it isn't. It's only their second CB.
The thing is, the Korean version doesn't even have stamina! That's why it was such a shock when they announced what it actually was.
Here's a very brief and amusing timeline:
CB1 ends jul28
"Test your Stamina!" is announced, telling players about the awesome new stamina feature we get to try out in CB2 like Jul31
Between then and the 6th there's 2-3 threads discussing what it might be, with most people leaning towards expecting it to be something like the rested bonus in wow, with a few inklings of "man I've played some games with stam that really sucked because of it."
6th: Stamina is announced as quite literally nothing but a limit to how many mobs per day you can fight. Forums are spammed to shit, 5 minute timer between posts imposed on the general forum cuz everyone's flipping out. GM's say "hey, test it out, calm down, see how it works before you go crazy."
7th: people test it out
Late on the 7th "um yeah I'm out of stam at level 18 this sucks see ya later."
8th: All day long forums still spammed with "fuck this shit"
9th: entire new forum opened up specifically for stam discussion because there's nothing else being talked about anywhere
Seriously, the stam is not that terrible in and of itself, but I can't auto-run anywhere because I'll run into trash mobs I don't need and waste stam, I can't go farm ashen crystals on anything but boss mobs cuz by the time I get enough to upgrade I won't be able to fight the rest of the day, etc. etc.
And, honestly, the free league to build it back up is kinda fun, and you can win a lot of money. But, the last time I did it yesterday, as a level 25, I think the list of my opponents went something like this: 22, 19, 31, 19, 19, 30, 18, 30
I made like 200k+ gold and 15 stam in about an hour, however the only close fights were the 2nd time I fought the 19 (same guy as first 19), he popped a nike's spell book, and when it went off literally my healer died and the rest of my team instantly dropped below half. Then of course the next round I zerged his hero and killed it purely by being so much higher... and then the last game I was stomping the level 30 guy but ran out of time.
Meh... we'll see. As long as you're not like... playing 15+ hours a day while completely avoiding the league, I think it won't be so bad.
However, nothing can change the fact that it's a flat out terrible idea with no business actually being in the game.
Edit: also, if you're going to do the pvp much, I promise you it's worth the time and effort to keep your mercs close to your level rather than powering your main to get to farther stuff in the game. I dunno how many times I'd fight someone that was either near the same level as me or a little above, and it would be no contest at all because my mercs are all within 1 level of main and theirs are all like 5-10 levels behind.
So.. who all that got passed all the bs, what level are all of you? ;o
I'm lv16 spearman now
damn plow, are you serious? i play d&f so i've gotten used to the stamina system, but i've never actually tried atlantica so i didn't know about that... it's absurb that they decided to add it into the international version lol
the korean version came out with a farely recent patch, i think it was updated to v2.0 and there's a lot of old school players coming back apparently. something awesome must've been added i'm guessing!
wow, the game looks really fucking pretty.
I'm lv23 already, someone go make a BG guild
This pvp system fails. Why would a Lv24 hit me for more then a Lv33?
+9 weapon?
or gun, do more dmg @ pvp
or both >.>
Dinged 46 tonight. How about ya'll?
Also, we probably messed up since the "towns" after the tutorial were actually server channels. Lol
