Well, with the Arena betting system, money problems are non-existent, unles you're really really really unlucky, like me, and lose with everyone you bet on.

Like, a little bit aog I tossed 100k on 5 of the dudes, with a chance to get profit if any of them won, you'd think I'd have a really good chance, right? Nope, 2 got knocked out in first round, 2 got pitted against each other, and then the last 2 got knocked out in round two. God, that sucked.

If you want though, you can make me like, oh, 32 Blood Knight axes so I can make a +5 for my Vik on my new toon. ;D

And they probably are going to wipe after CB3, least it's the rumor through the grapevine.

Get me the warrior's signs and still-beating hearts and I'll cover the rest heh.

If they wipe the game is over, won't last more than a few months.

Nope. I've gotten a whopping 2 from Goncourt's boxes in several hundred attempts as well. Fun stuff.

Even better is getting mid books for c mercs, the good ones are just as bad and the difference is they're all the main reason for having the character in the first place, whereas dark seed is something the sword just kind of has that's nice when you get a chance to pop it off in combo with a hex from another char.

The only thing being tested in this beta is "how can we make the most possible money from this game and how much can we promise our funders?"


Basically it's the whole game, level capped at 80 ("final" cap at this point in korean is 120). The game is complete and released in Korea, they're simply translating and adding a few things to try to milk more money out of the players.

Are you sure the cap is 120? I think it's only 100, I know the No Trade scrolls say "Not usable after 120" but that wouldn't make sense to cap it at a point where you wouldn't be able to ever use scrolls again.

Maybe the 30 ones are screwed up or something, not sure, but I used a tele scroll at level 60 a few hours before afk autocrafting while I slept, came back and was doing guild quests waiting for it to wear off so I could use another one before I hit 61 and the price multiplied 10x.

Nevermind, I figured it out. But Revocation didn't work for me like that it only gave me a little exp. :<

they were doing it on the level 115ish llama's in north america



I'm going to make a loooooongass post about the stamina and the credibility of ndoors later, I really hope they come to their senses and give us the game we all love instead of constantly trying to morph it into their impression of what would be good.

there's some idiot that runs around flaming anybody that doesn't like stamina, claiming they're all anti-social and going to ruin the game by grinding too much

he makes shit up constantly, lies his ass off (he says he played ffxi... he sold his account... right when treasures was coming out... says his last piece of armor cost over 300m and he had full ares. He also says he had Maat's Hat. Yes, he actually said Maat's Hat.) and is just a bitch in general, and completely gets away with it because he's bashing all the anti stam people, and any other games in existence

he actually claimed the rested bonus limits your progress in WoW because killing mobs is "like 200 exp even at high levels" and you should only quest... and of course it doesn't help any while questing


it's pretty ridiculous, GM deletes my posts and shit and leaves his complete drivel all over the place, and I keep calling both him and the gm out on it lol

Did you dodge the chat filter? I've cussed quite a bit but I let it get filtered so no issues there.

I got to about 55 before CB2 ended. Between the 50 stamina BS, getting crystals for my beast trainer and witch, and all of my licenses running out this game has gotten really boring, really quick.

Yeah I'm level 60 and didn't get the level 50 upgrades for my beast or my witch yet.

I will say when you get to labyrinth ashens start dropping like cheap fur or something, I gave somebody like 210 after I upgraded all my D mercs just from going straight through the place on the quest line.



BTW, if you guys don't read the forums, someone made pretty much the best post ever a few days ago.

I propose the developers remove "book stacking". I mean a dis-allow of having two "Lightning Spear [INT]" books (for example), occupy just one inventory space.

I went to Goon**** (sp?) the other day to exchange about three hundred "Hex Of Darkness" books. This is really a fun part of the game that everyone should explore. I knew fortune was shining on me immediately when I paid 1k to the guy in Bucharest to tell me...... (wait for it).... the guy I'm looking for is actually IN Bucharest currently! ~Woot!

Book Exchange is really a great system. Using Auto-Follow, I hone in on Goon**** and by offering up multiple copies of my same book, and I proceed to get all sorts of different books. Mind you, there is a small fee of 1k, and the exchange isn't exactly one-for-one. What you get in exchange for a book is a "book box" that randomly triggers "modern" boxes that can give [BEG] books, or "medieval" boxes and "ancient" boxes that give [INT] or [ADV] books respectively. When these boxes are opened, you get random books of that level that aren't limited to the characters you are using. This is great because some day I might want a second shaman and I could desire her to be trained in "Hex Of Darkness" (for example).

As you get these random books, you may find you get a couple books that you don't need. This is all good because for only 1k, you can exchange it again and do it again! (no reset quest required).

You can see that this is pretty fun and after only about 4 hours and 700k gone, you might only need 2 or 3 books yet (because you earned 7 already through the luck system). It all does however get lonely. =/ My mind would only snap out of it occasionally through the pop-ups of "xxx successfully crafted xxxxx!" messages. In a way, these pop-ups become your link to the world around you. They inform you of what is going on in the world, ~ people successfully achieving their goals for example. These pop-ups are *the* news source in the current system.

I propose we remove "book stacking" so that we may have a chance to explore the community and ask others "if they can hold our extra books?". It seemed unfair that I had this fun experience alone and I admit, the loneliness in the end (and only after 4 hours too) explore other means of getting books. As I could have probably bought the books I needed with the 700k I'd spent (but missed out on the experience) I sorta broke down in the end and bought 70 Commodity [INT] boxes for 600k or so. I figured they probably worked like they did when they were [BEG] boxes so I should be set. What's actually awesomer? -- They actually give you *more* random books! (sweet!).

Due to lack of companionship, (one guy hung around for a couple hours but apparently had a weak bladder), - I gave up and decided to spend 300k on the books I wanted. It was a great experience overall for only 1-2 million golds doing the exchange system, but I think not being able to share it made it sort of "empty".

Pleaee Ndoors remove book stacking! This will "allow us to explore the community" awesomer. Maybe a section could be added along side the "Looking for group" option. Maybe "looking to hold someones books!" ? The benefit of a shared experience and larger inventory provided by a friend as you talk with Goon**** for 4+ hours is something we should ALL experience.

So, CB3 tonight. Also, stamina fixes. So now it gives exp and items with 0 stamina, wonder if it'll be like 1% of normal exp/drop rates. Lol
