Lowest I have seen is 3.74 here in NE Arkansas.
Lowest I have seen is 3.74 here in NE Arkansas.
it hovering around 3.80 here in VA, at least in Hampton area
was 4.00 last week when I filled up
We still haven't dropped below $4 in my area... The gas station I go to was at $4.27 for almost two weeks, then late last week it went up to $4.28, and now it is down to $4.23 as of yesterday I think. Wooo, 4 cents!
Its dropped only about 10 cents from its peek 2 weeks ago in my area, with most stations hovering around the $4 mark for Regular.
I've yet to pay $4+ for a gallon of gas. Last year, gas prices peaked at/around Memorial Day. It came close to peaking then, but a couple weeks ago shot back up to the memorial day prices. We'll probably see a tapering off again. This timetable for gas prices starting to taper off isn't anything out of the ordinary.
Yeah, but at least for here the difference was that they said "zomg gas is going to get to over $4 this year
!!" last year, and that never happened. This year it really happened.
This is proof that there has been no oil speculation going on whatsoever.
I want to go back to 1999 and buy gas.
Yeah, was $1.55/L here in Victoria for a while but it's back down to about $1.47/L now.
Oh and for your yanks, $1.47/L works out to $5.52USD/Gallon so don't think you're being hit so hard about gas and only Europeans pay more.
But that 1.17 Euros/L is like $1.85/L CDN, which is still fucking rough (and about $7.00USD/Gallon)
Gas is only $2.35 here. And by $2.35 I mean $3.80.
$4.25 This morning in Cali. I remember thinking "Wow, this is a good price," which made me feel dirty...![]()
Taking a road trip to Cali last weekend made me realize how fucked things are there. Everything really IS more expensive in California. And I always thought Washington was expensive.
I remember losing a bet to a friend in FFXI that lived in Orange County. i had to call and order him a pizza. Said he wanted a medium peperoni. Fucking cost me $15 to have a medium pizza delivered to him. $15 buys a couple of larges here.
Woke up and it was 3.85. Immediately slammed on my brakes and threw 64.00 in and topped off my tank!!
It's a sad fact that I got excited at 3.85 a gallon. Luckily I don't have to fill up but about once a week or so. Great gas milage for having an SUV.
gas prices have dropped every day for around a week. Mid grade here is almost back down to 4 even, I think it was 4.03 today. Regular is around 3.85.
Seems like the west coast has it the worse. <3 Midwest.
And here, in sunny England...
£1.32 per litre (approx $2.60)
= £5.94 per gallon (approx $11.88 )
Yay ...
(Assuming you really mean diesel and not .. gas)
I'd like to pay that compared to what we pay up near Chicago. Right now cheapest I've seen is $4.17, beginning of the week was $4.30. Chicago suburbs though is cheaper than Chicago itself....so I'm just basing that outta my neck of the woods.
Edit: 4.11 on the way home from work now.
Lowest I saw was $4.07 on Long Island, NY. Been going down the past few days, week ago it was steady at $4.29-$4.33.
I astounded my girlfriend (6 years my junior) that I was once able to purchase gas for less than $1.00/L. I guess that's what being born in 1989 will do to a person, hah.
