I actually took it as second nature. That's wut I get for being brought up on anime for 22 years.

omg. fräulein (notice the ä not a) in swiss-german means as much as miss in english, but it was common to use back in the days to adress your female teacher or the waitress.

fraulein in german doesn't really mean something, but frau means woman and lein is put behind subjects to indicate a smaller, more cute version of it. männ (plural of mann which means man) lein = männlein is a very short man, a term often used in fairy tales. however, it's not used in modern talk. silly japanese

As the guy on page one mentioned, it's what the translator did, not the Japanese. He really seems to like complex alliterations (see: thewy terpsichoreans). Comparing the two versions, they really turned the knob to 11 on the exposition too. The English version is at least three times longer and more descriptive.

Looks like the in-game model is a full grown Hume female though, which doesn't really mesh with the art. That, and she's not Mithra. If she was Mithra though, she'd be powerful enough on her own and wouldn't need our cheers, hence no event, so I can see why they went with Hume >.>

Shes actually wearing the armor that females are going to get from this Summerfest, with males getting a slight variation.

Her top looks like the image model of this years summerfest tops, no idea where the viking hats come in though.
