Driving, Don't have time to elaborate well cuz on cell, but

Your top 15 WR was injured the whole year. Your #2 WR is average at best, mostly known for ability to drop passes. Your TE didn't play a down in the playoffs. Your QB was highly inefficient in the reg season. Lots of quesrions on offense going into post season. Tyree/smith doubled production against better teams in half the games in playoffs. According to your stats, the played 15 reg season games combined, played 8 combined post season games. Doubled productivity against playoff teams.

Considering Ryant Grant was our 4th RB going into last season, and he ran for 1,000 yards. Then yes they're all capable since they're all better than him.

he was also the 4th RB on green bay behind jackson, wynn, and morency. that means they are all better than him too?

Derrick Ward had 602 (+200 receiving) yards in 8 games. You think he couldn't have eclipsed 1,000? That's damn near Ronnie Brown's numbers.
Bradshaw only averaged 8.3 yards per carry, and Jacobs hit 1,000.

2 of the 3 are almost guaranteed 1,000 next year barring no injury. Neither could do it alone (maybe Jacobs), but they're all capable of doing it.

I really debated making this thread, So glad I did. I'm getting the jitters, it's like when you smoke crack for 4 months, take a 4 month hiatus, and now were starting back up. IT FEELS SO GOOD!

Don't compare Aaron Rodgers to Tony Romo, ever.

Tony Romo is a diamond in the rough, and the way hes played the last 1.5 seasons (minus the botched fieldgoal hold, though thats usually Brad Johnsons job, no idea why they made Romo do it) he has shown he is in the top3 QB in the league. Romo will go on to do great things for many years to come, and he will be the MVP this year.

Aaron Rodgers...? Injured twice, threw some nice INTs too.

88 of bradshaw's 190 regular season yards came on one god damn run. he was serviceable in the playoffs but nothing special. nobody even knew who the fuck he was before the buffalo game in like week 14 or w/e but all the sudden hes a 1000 yard back?

I'm surprised we haven't seen someone make up a College Football thread yet. I'm waiting for the Pick Em games to show up on ESPN.com, figure we (BG) only did College Pick Em last year, should do both College & Pro this year. Maybe the Survivor/Eliminator pool for NFL as well.

Never said he was a 1,000 yard back, I said he was capable of doing it. And did anyone know who Tony Romo was before he made the probowl when started for 8 weeks? Never understood that argument.

he actually started 10 games and you may not remember but the qb situation was a shit show in the NFC in 06. besides, most people dont put nearly as much stock in probowl appearances anymore, shit is pretty much a popularity contest.

the reason i made the comment about nobody knowing bradshaw is because after one good game his entire career you are calling him a capable thousand yard back. not to mention you claim hes better than ryan grant simply because he was ahead of him on a depth chart before the season started. do you honestly think green bay would trade grant for bradshaw, jacobs, or ward?

Yes, considering the Packers only traded for Grant because the Giants deemed him expendable once they realized Bradshaw/Jacobs/Ward were better.

If the Packers thought so highly of Grant they wouldn't be offering him a $3 million signing bonus on his extension. For comparison, there are rookies making 3x that amount who haven't even played a down in the NFL.

at this point i have to think your posts are all just a big joke. have you seriously never heard of a player performing better than he was ever expected to? hello fucking tom brady, tony romo, willie parker, steve young, brian westbrook all called and said you are a moron. the falcons deemed brett favre expendable and he went to green bay and now owns every QB record.

as for rookie salaries, jake long is the highest paid offensive lineman in the nfl and hasnt played a single down. does that make him better than steve hutchinson or chris samuels?

Tyven, what you don't realize is that Randy Moss is far better than Jerry Rice.

I realized then that arguing with Deejay is pointless. You just have to kind of have to accept it as it is.

Edit: I am still laughing at typing that, That is hands down my favorite Deejay quote. And I have a lot!

What does that have to do with the question you asked me? The Packers know how well Grant can play, and if the team thought he was worth it, they would have payed him by now. And for every Steve Young out there, there are 10 Akili Smiths, Quincy Morgans, Luke Mccowns, Jeff Georges, etc etc. Tom Brady, Steve Young, Brian Westbrook, and Willie Parker are all exceptions for a reason. That shit rarely happens.

Ryant Grant benefited from the system he was in moreso than natural talent.

Edit: And Mizango how long are you going to bring up the Randy Moss crap? You say something dumb every week, yet all you have against me is something I said like week 17 of last season.

cuz 1000 yards in 7 starts is your normal everyday 4th string running back shit, thats not an exception at all. thanks for making my point for me.
