So you're saying JT O'sullivan is going to make them a playoff team?

Seattle is a injury trainwreck, Arizona is Arizona, St. Louis has been absolutely terrible, and yes, J.T. Sullivan is a decent back. It's not beyond the realm of imagination.

I think the Cardinals are going places if Kurt Warner is really getting the nod week 1. They've got the best(?) 1-2 WR punch in the league coupled with an improving defense.

The 49'ers aren't doing shit unless O'sullivan is this years Derek Anderson. Which isn't going to happen because they still don't have a Braylon Edwards to throw to. And no, 97 year old Isaac Bruce doesn't count.

    lolUSC players.

What what a fall for Alex Smith? But to his credit having what 3 OC in 4 seasons does not bode well for one's career. Everyone knows Martz likes underdogs and proving he can make anyone into a QB. He did the same thing with Warner and his "OMG he was stocking groceries at a store in Iowa before Martz brought him into camp". Same with Ryan Fitzptrick, Mark Bulger and with Kitna in Detroit.

Sullivan will get killed every time he drops back IMO. But I cant help but think this is just Martz's narcissism getting in the way. Kind of like how Shanahan drafted Maurice Clarett in the what 4th round to prove of sorts that he could make a RB out of anyone. True Smith played like shit, and I was not a fan of him being cocky coming out of college, bit damn, that is quite a fall from grace.

HOW BOUT THEM PANTHERS BABY! New O-Liine, Healthy Delhomme, Stewart and Williams in the backfield.... Gonna be a fun season!

Is it just me or is the Game much better with Kornheiser out of the booth tonight? It JUST dawned on me as to why the game seemed so different tonight. I dont have to listen to rants about how Favre gets it done "NOW" for the Pack as opposed to Rodgers and the future. Blah Blah Blah Bush and Leinart, Leinart and Bush gets olde. He is awesome on PTI but for god sake keep him out of the booth.

What a game Sproles if having. I am glad to see him showing what he can do besides returning kick offs and punts for TD's. With Turner gone this could be his chance. Rivers looking good etc... I must say I am impressed. Also Frye is also playing well, happy to see that as well.

Seeing as how Carolina plays them in Week 1 I guess I am looking for weakness or mistakes. Not many yet besides that fumble in the red zone on the first drive.

Tony is an idiot in a lovable kind of way. And he's funny and not afraid to call out jaws whenever he flip flops stances on something.

Jaws is annoying as fuck though.

I can't stand the Bryant Gumble wanna be negro they have. His nerdy voice makes me want to rip my eyes out. I can't stand how the WHITEST black people get jobs in the booth.

I think you nailed it. Tony is a normal guy who's really like any one of us, and he's not afraid to speak his mind. I don't mind him.

No I love Kornheiser, Its the Matt Leinart and Aaron Rodgers rants in the middle of a Texans vs Bills game that gets me. Neither person is in the game but will talk about them for a quarter and a half. Other than that I have no issue whatsoever with him.

That's why I like Tony, I like non-football guys talking about anything but the game breakdown. I mean, I don't want it non stop for the 3 hours of gametime, but I like it in slices. Tony can go a little far, but it pans out fine. I think they wanted to kind of get a Dennis Miller feel, but with someone with a little more inside track. Assuming we stick to the normal guy/analyst/ex-player format, give me Tony, Joe Buck, and Strahan for my Monday Night Dream team. Maybe Vanpeezy/Dan Patrick in pace of Tony.

Sproles is 5'3 in 6 inch stilettos, I honestly think it's taken these few years to fully prepare his body to run the ball more than a few times a game in the NFL.

He was utterly ridiculous in college, I honestly thought he'd be the next Barry Sanders straight up.

So, yeah, I'm pretty sure the reason they were able to finally get rid of Turner (which they wanted to do last year) is that they believe he's finally ready to be a 15-20 play a game guy, or even more if the issue is forced.

It's really exciting, I can guarantee you he will make plays all year long that are absolutely amazing, if he's really ready to play a lot and stay healthy, the Chargers don't just have the best back in the world anymore, they have the best 1-2 punch by a long, long ways.

    obligitory cheesy college vid:

It's like watching a cartoon or something. The Barret Rudd shot is just massive lulz, he's outsized by around 1 foot and 80ish pounds.

There's no question he should've won the heisman ><

Jason White was a joke when it came down to it, and the 2nd place rusher was about 300 yards behind Sproles lol...

For rushing and recieving it was like 700

Tony Kornhole is an idiot, I cannot stand this guy because he has to mention things not related to the game. When the saints played the cardinals in their 1st preseason game it was one of the worst broadcasts I have ever seen. Kornhole talked about farve more than the game.

MNF crew dropped to a real low for me that night to the point where I will be muting the T.V during future saints games on MNF.

    Cincinnati Enquirer

Apparently the Bengals are looking to trade off Rudi Johnson, which, if it happens, would basically make Kenny Watson their starter. I was thinking that would eventually happen, just didn't really think they would trade off a starting-quality backup to fix a temporary problem
