I got a really cheap "Relic" wallent from JC Penny (I think) when I was like 16 years old and I still have it today. It doesn't look like I'll need a replacement any time soon.

I got a columbia wallet from koals that has lasted me quite some time, durable and only costed 12 or so
I think I've had this Wilsons wallet for about 8 or 9 years now, washed it two or three times and it still looks like it did the day I bought it. It doesn't really look flashy or anything but it's done the job fine for me all this time. I think I got it on my 16th birthday and now at 24 and some months it hasn't shown any real wear thus far.
I'm stealing your thread.
I need to get my brother something for his birthday and a wallet sounds nice. Any high street places in the UK that someone can recommend? I want something that is decentish. Nothing too expensive since its only my brother.
Ive always loved these types of wallets.

though i hate ordering shit online so i'll just stick with my Swiss army one
I love my Louis Vuitton wallet. Stands up really well and looks great.
don't need to get a wallet that lasts 10,000 years - i replace mine (if i don't lose it) every few years, or when it starts to lose shape. i'd really rather not have all my credit cards and shit fall down a sewer grate downtown because i didn't want to spend a few bucks for a new wallet.
any department store will do, and you can get a wallet of almost any description or configuration for no more than 25 bucks. marshalls/tj maxx is the shit for leather goods like that if there's one near you, although i usually don't shop there unless i need a wallet or briefcase. i got a polo wallet there (which i had stolen at gunpoint last summer) for 19 bucks ($60 tag), and it was still fairly tight and solid after 4 years.
