Thx for the OP, Archain. Omg drooling already
Nagi should give either Jubaku: Ni, Utsusemi: San, or a shit ton of Enmity.
Was wondering where he went off too.

RDM info
They didn't assign pld swordWell at least we can see how good the cor's gun is.... man that thing looks like it will be a beast.
Thayos posted some more detailed info:
The way they explained it, the aftermath effect stays in effect for as long as the weapon stays equipped. Unknown whether the effect wears off when a battle ends, or after you zone... but it definitely doesn't just wear off after a few seconds.
:Q_
It does wear, the duration is dependent on TP like the effects of Zilart relic weapons.
I was hoping that the WS names pay tribute to prior FFs like the names of the base weapons from Nyzul...
for RDM.. something like 'Wild Rose' probably.. (its the symbol of Altair's resistance or something in FF2, and also the ultimate weapon for Scott in Soul of Rebirth.
for PUP i was hoping it'd be something like um.. Burning Rave.. after Zell's Limit Break..
The less 8 references there are, the happier I'll be.
I /facepalmed over RDM's. I hope this is a hoax cause, that is not exactly awesome. I can't really see the benefit from it. RDM tanking? Saves you a cure? I dunno, I don't think it'd be worth the time/effort for a cureIV while verting. I mean, it's nice, but... Eh.... Maybe all the other weapons give subpar effects?
it probably is something good. Im sure SE knows that RDMs dont really use Swords to melee to begin with (might change tho).. so whatever RDM-benefitting stats they put on there might be very game-breaking in that sense.. imagine if it were a 200% return with convert.. you convert with 500HP and 10MP, you get 1000MP and 20HP back, that kind of thing...
It'd be really useful.. but then again RDMs with the current Convert are spoilt as it is.. :D
I want more 8 references.
Enhanced fast cast woulda been a lot better ;/. Maybe even enhanced enspells or something that would justify bringing a sword to endgame or anything non solo related <_<
Well, with a good enhancing set and spamming the new WS, you at least wont see a whole lot of resists on your enspells.
(Warning: I'm not a mage so if magic accuracy doesn't affect enspells, disregard my comment.)
It should. Also Magic Attack. I could have sworn I read somewhere the Enspell II series that people found in the dats would be implemented in September, but now I think I hallucinated it. If they really do add the Enspell II series, I can see Murgleis + Joyeuse being fairly effective.
