When you save the image as a jpg in paint, it loses a lot of the image quality, thus making it look like NES, it does not look like that when i play. Goes from being a 1mb .png to being a 133kb jpg, thus the NES look.

That's not really true, when I save my images in paint they look almost the same as when I play, the loss in quality is not large enough to make it look all "NES".

I myself see a ton of crappy players on Siren - but not as many as you're making it sound on Cerb. Funnily enough, anyone else who I've met irl who plays FFXI is on Cerb... though they never complained about the playerbase on their server. That leads me to wonder which server has the largest density of sucky players. If I so much as stepped outside WG and took screens of people soloing/meriting I could fill this thread a good bit, is it like that on all servers?

Why don't people even seem to care about their gear? They pay to play this game, most of them are relied upon by friends and lsmates to do their jobs properly, and I'd say many of them spend 20+ hours a week playing. Aside from the fact that the vast majority of the internet is a retard, I cannot fathom the gear choices for at least 60% of the playerbase on Siren.

The main reason I don't do pickup merits is because Siren has more of an asshole problem than a gear problem - too often someone is pimping incredible gear, but a seriously nasty attitude.

I'm gonna wager most of those same crappy players try to do end game and end up failing. It's pretty much a free for all with Eanae's shell I'm guessing seeing as a lot of them arn't too bright maybe?

Actually on cerb theres 3 real HNMLS, but alot of end game shells. The 3 of us that openly bot arent that contested at kings so that keeps the retard level at a minimum. We're prolly like most ls, have our core members then the ppl we have that are bodies. Which you are depends on you lol. As for alot of the end game ls's, thats pretty much the same, you have your competent ones, and the not so competent ones. Theres actually more competent players in the good endgame shells than I'd expect so Id have to say ppl are blowing cerb out of proportion. Of course this is all from someone who doesnt ever lfp, only do ls parties, so i cant comment on the xp side of it.

Ohgod. Can someone please tell these melees that fulltiming str gear doesn't make you badass, it just makes you gimp?

I would cry gilbuyer on this one, though... I refuse to believe that anyone with such nice gear doesn't know how to play unless they buy all their gil.
