Notice I'm not commenting on the skill part because I've also met quite a few Francophone people who had no clue on how to play this game/gear up.

Yes, actually I do speak French, (though it's admittedly rusty since I've been out of school for ten years) and I do attempt to communicate with them, but many of them just can't be taught jackshit about how to play their jobs.

Trust me, I tried like everything I could possibly think of. Reinstalled windower, changed to older versions a few times, even went so far as to completely re-install FFXI, and absolutely nothing worked.

Never said he was gimp. But if you had a choice to upgrade AF, why would you take -1 enm. over +1 int as a BLM. Unless you're telling me he never knew the upgrade stats and just went for it on a hunch, I'd just call that confused.

Yes, I would call upgrading BLM AF pants over AF head gimp.
Sure, they're minor upgrades, but that +1 INT is going to go a LOT farther for you than -1 ENM, a few MP, and +1hMP on the pants.

Can't use the "I don't know the upgrade stats" excuse either, because even if they don't look at wiki or anything, they can easily talk to Sagheera for the info...

Got invited to a party and was passed lead within 10 minutes (Leader just up and left). The WHM changed his sub every 10 minutes to what he felt like at the time, and the RNG preferred subbing his 20WAR.
