As for the dragon miniboss, how do you kill it before it goes off the screen? Best I've managed to do was kill it immediately once it came back onto the screen for the first time.
Use Blackhole Bomb and after every hit, open up your menu. Close it and the Blackhole will be gone allowing you to shoot another. It should take 3 or 4 but you'll get him on the first pass every time.

I've got it on the PS3 and I really enjoyed the game. As for time attacks I've got 2:46:78 on Wily 2 which seems to be holding up nicely. The#1 for Tornado Man has me by less than 2 seconds, and I know I could beat him I could A. Get the last screen before the boss door correct ( I can never land when I use Tornado Man's move to gain some extra air and skip a platform, I always fall), and B. Get a Tornado man that isn't retarded and flys into the middle of the stage. -_-

I've got #2 on Wily 3 as well, and the first place guy had me by about 6 seconds or so.. but he improved his run by about 30 seconds total and I have no idea how. <_> I can do the boss and land double Blackholes on him every pass but it's still not even close. Any ideas? ;|a

Just downloaded it 45 mins ago, loving it so far. Satellite/Jewel Man dead, finishing up Plug Man's stage. (Not as hard as what I've read.) Though I'm sure the game will only get more difficult. Trying to finish it as Mega Man before I get Proto-Man, already have my 200 extra Wii points on the side for him.

Plug Man's disappearing blocks can be difficult if you either time it wrong or don't realize the pattern. There's also that HUEG TARP that can get you on the first set of disappearing blocks, if you try to take the top path. That motherfucker got me the first time.

Finally beat this game and somehow got 20% of my challenges done from one run which was pretty cool. But some of those challenges are freaking ridiculous like taking no damage?? ...

Very fun game and very frustrating at times on the first runs; makes it feel authentic.

I hope Capcom wasn't taunting me with that screen in background during the ending with a certain character on it. That character better be in the DLC in that new stage (don't know how to do spoiler tags gahh)

Edit: Thinking this topic should be moved to the games section?

    Spoiler: show
I doubt that Bass will appear at all otherwise, although I would be pleasantly surprised if he was the boss of the extra time trial.

They said that Rockman and Forte was an alternate universe, but maybe they meant it was a sidestory thing?

Like, Megaman is battling Dr. Wily in Megaman 9 and at the same time, Bass is battling King. It would explain his absense in MM9

Yeah, that lil bastard got me a couple of times...the annoying thing w/Plug Man also, is that you really need to make sure you hit him everytime with the Jewel Satellite. It drains a ton of energy, so you only get so many shots, but enough to kill him.

Edit: Also beat Tornado Man's stage before I had to raid. Very easy stage IMO.

This is a game I would never ever EVER get on the 360. The D-Pad is just so fucking terrible...

I was telling my Dad about Megaman 9 the other day, how it was just like Nintendo and shit, and he actually came to play Megaman 9 with me. My 50 year old father, who hadn't touched a videogame in nearly 16 years, wanted to play Megaman 9. lol, when I busted out the Rush Coil he said "holy shit, its spring dog".

Father plays some old games with me on occasion (he use to beat some of the older NES ones for me since I was a noob kid). The recent one being Mario Kart Wii since he loved the wheel feature. Bastard beat me a few times which was a shock...

tho that is true, all you're doing is going left and right, there's no sliding or anything, i'm waiting on the 360 version for it (hooray for spare MS points!). I actually want to get my hands on those "fixed d-pad" controllers that they sell in south america lol.

I laugh everytime I play this on my 42inch 1080P HD, its great.
The game is truely fun and I have been enjoying it a lot so far, only complaint is that the robot levels seem very short... where they this short on the NES also?
I'm not that far into the game yet, only cleared 3 of the bosses... but i will admit its the prettiest 8bit game I have seen so far & the music is good (has some 8bit catchy tunes)

I didn't see a better reply to this: Gravity bomb.

Strips all his fires, sucks up the ones he spits at you. 3 passes = fucked up dragon.
Edit, oh it was mentioned. Well, its still easier to kill the fucker with this if you're not going for speed.

Also, RE360 Dpad sucking: its very, very unresponsive.
