This is going to be awesome:D. I really like how they got rid of the sliding and power shot, even though both add-ons weren't that bad. It's been a really long time since I've played a good Mega Man game (MM X4 was my last favorite), so I'm hoping they don't fuck this up. :/

As long as there's no yellow demon in this game I'll be happy...I could never beat him. Getting through the normal stages isn't a problem, was always him...so the only megaman I've beaten of the original series was 2, simply because there was no demon lol.

Also, I thought Splash Woman's stage looked more like Pirate Man's <_< but I guess it is pretty similar to Wave Man's too.

I never recalled having much trouble with him once I got the jumping pattern down.

I distinctly remember the Devil Boss being in one of the later X games, before the 3D ones. I think it was X5?

There was a Devil Blob type boss in the first stage of the Sigma Levels in X5.

Not liking the retro shift...

Sort of wish the classic series would have stayed dead after 8, or at least conclude it to the point where the X series starts. Same thing with the X series: bring it back, finally kill off Sigma and bring on the Elf Wars.

Mega Man 2 is my all time favorite NES game. Mega Man 9 should be cheap and fun. I'm excited about it.

MM7 and MMX4 were the best imo. Both megaman legend were awesome as well, even if they were completely different. It pisses me off to see where this series went after those games.

ZX2 was okay I guess, big improvement over the first one, but it was still lacking compared to Castlevania and metroids.

Yeah, I was never a huge fan of the ZX series. X is good (until it went 3D), and regular is awesome. Looking forward to this. I kinda wish it had charge shot/slide though, added a bit more depth to the game.
