Reformatting crappy Alienware Craptop

Ok! Now, I tried reformatting it, and was successful in doing so. HOWEVERZ, i found that 6 Gs were missing. I had crysis on the PC when I first got it and I remember getting down to 72 g after installation.

But after I reformatted, I began with 72 gigs so wtf!?

Nigga stole my gigs. Halp!

Run some partition manager (the one on the ultimate boot cd will do, name escapes me), see if it shows up there. Might be a recovery partition set up by alienware.

(On second thought you said crysis took you down to where you are now, so maybe not recovery, but I'd still run partition manager and see what you get)

I'm going to assume the HD size is 80GB, hence:

(80*1000^3)/1024^3 = 74.5GB of actual space. Now subtract w/e number of additional space for OS and format type and should be around the number you posted.
