It is good human behavior and it is expected to help others if you receive help (especially lots of it for things like Dynamis). In short, that guy is an ingrate.

Most (I'll admit not all) event only LSs are point systems (or attendance, which is a form of points). When you get your shit, you "earned" it, you don't owe anyone anything.

I PMed you, to which you replied with your "warning", asking if my post had been deleted from the background check thread thread. Not from BG in general. Actually, let me quote my PM:

I was asking if it was okay to repost, because I wanted to find out if it was okay to repost, to which you threatened me if I reposted. See where my issue with your logic is? A threat was not needed, since I was asking if it was okay. Thanks though.

The LJ post was not deleted. It was made friends-only. You're not a friend, have never been a friend, thus you could no longer see it.

Please explain to me how this is against the rules. If it were some other board besides Advanced, sure. Was I too mean in my OP? Did I post anything but the truth? Has Advanced been turned into a no-flames board and I missed notification of that?

Seconded. My Dynamis shell doesn't use points, but generally operates on the principle that you receive drops based on what you have done, not what you will do. You leaves when you leaves.

Of course, it's a lot easier to have such a policy when you don't allow sponsorship, but I think that dead horse has already been thoroughly beaten.

That was actually a (small) part of this. I don't start threads on BG often, I think this may be my first Advanced thread I ever started. I actually would have been willing to drop it (though I do think it's worthy of being here), but she threatened me. Not just here, she went to my LJ to do it as well. I don't take well to threats.

I did hope to bring drama, entertainment, to us here. It's been a long time since we've had good, fun drama on the Advanced boards (remember the days when there was so much you couldn't keep up with all the new posts in all the various threads?). I guess I can be satisfied that if I didn't do it through my original topic at least I'm doing it over my right to have posted it or not?
