Freezing During Campaign

I recently started getting back into doing Campaign battles, and I've noticed that my PS2 would freeze periodically. Considering I play on a PS2 I can't exactly turn off the extra Graphics, and I've checked my files a few times with nothing showing up that would cause a problem. Has anyone experienced this before? I do enjoy doing Campaign so I'm hoping I wouldn't have to resort to stopping.

This happened a lot to me on my XBox360. So I went and installed a new heatsink and fan. Haven't had a problem since.

Yeah, I crash all the time during Campaign and Besiege fights. It happens when you're in a town filled with lots of people. Tends to happen somewhere near the end of a long Besiege and Campaign fight.

Hate it when that happens. So I got into the habit of randomly renewing my badge before reaching cap. I notice I tend to DC towards the middle part of Sandy S and by the MH when there are NPC's + mobs+ people there. So I tend to avoid those places.

I have the same problem with lag, and sometimes freezing. I rarely actually dc, but it gets so bad I can't function in-game, so I try to stand away from the main battle and just cure/buff anyone who runs by. I have better luck with besieged.

I have the same problem at times (PS2). Usually when I start to notice it I'll try to clear my tag then relog my connection and hope it works.

Most of the time it happens around Forts since everyone is there attacking them.

Ever since I turned off the effects while doing campaign, I haven't had any problems with freezing. So that did fix my problem. ^_^
