The poor guy was probably dead by the time anyone realized what the fuck was happening. Really suck for him, and a lot of people around who are probably going to be traumatized

it's very hard for people to react quickly and rationally when something completely irrational happens right in front of them. There is always this delay of "what the fuck is that?!?" which pretty much everyone would have.

That being said, this same thing would have never happened in the US because WE have guns.

The description of the guy doesn't exactly lend him to being easily subdued. Ask just about any Police officer and they'll tell you the weapons they fear the most during arrests or incidents are edged weapons.

Maybe in good old country-fried America some "hero" would have pulled out their firearm and start shooting wildly in a enclosed space with people running all over. >_>

All the people here saying they should have rallied up against him and took him down would probably be frozen in horror if this were to happen against them. I'd be quivering in a corner, that's for sure.
