Salvage/Einherjar/Limbus/ZNM LS, and a Dynamis LS

4. Why and How did you join the linkshell(s) you are in?
Left an HNMLS due to a forseeable change in play schedule. Knew the leader of my current LS and waited for an opening.

5. How long have you been in the linkshell(s)?
Maybe 10 months - 1 year?

6. Have you been in other linkshells in the past? If so, How many have you joined? Why did you leave?
Probably about a dozen or so. Since Mid 2004, mostly HNMLS. Left due to disputes about distribution rules. Irreconcilable differences between myself and other leaders when I lead an LS about the strategic direction of the LS.

7. Do you have other characters that you play with? If so, are they in the same linkshell? Why and why not?
No other charactars. In a game like FFXI, you can have all jobs on 1 character. No reason to use multiple characters.

8. What are some of the things your linkshell(s) do as a whole or in a group?
Salvage, Einherjar, Limbus, ZNMs

9. What do you like and not like about the linkshell(s) you are currently in?
Leader's a JERK, who READS THE FORUMS, and will inevitably SEE THIS POST, and CALL ME ON IT. j/k to some extent. The leader is a nazi, but he gets stuff done. Very effective LS.

10. Are there any rules or systems (i.e. point systems) that your linkshell(s) use? If so what are they? What are you opinions about them? Do you think it need improvements?
Total Runs / Tital items obtained = ratio, highest ratio gets priority. The system works well for salvage, but also penalizes older members who have obtained a lot of armor, which can lead to the older member base abandoning the LS. Straight Point structure for Limbus, which I disagree with. But given the size of the active limbus group, all members will have full homam/nashira before the inherent problems with point system arise.

11. What have you been doing after you reached the high level/max level on your character? What’s your goal in the game after max level?
Max level + merits is a pretty high goal, and there's always more to be done. Always more gear to strive for. Or you can just level another job, play the game a different way that you find enjoyable.

12. What is your favorite part of the game? Why is it your favorite?
I enjoy accomplishing things with 6 people that other groups typically bring 30+ people to. I enjoy the small salvage / limbus runs that end up successful. It makes my epeen big.

Just over 1 year in current linkshell

Yes. A few, but only one other linkshell dedicated to endgame activity. Left due to LS disbandment

I had restarted twice over, but eventually stuck with my current character. I have mules, but only 1 main at this time.

8. What are some of the things your linkshell(s) do as a whole or in a group?
Limbus, Salvage, Dynamis, Einherjar, Sky, Jailers, ZNM

9. What do you like and not like about the linkshell(s) you are currently in?
Pros: Good variety of events without any forced kings camping. For most events, item lotting rights are handled in a very agreeable way, and up until recently all the events were easy for me to attend with my schedule. Lots of member led low man events a huge plus.
Cons: It started off strong, but recently has been losing veteran members and attendance is decreasing.

10. Are there any rules or systems (i.e. point systems) that your linkshell(s) use? If so what are they? What are you opinions about them? Do you think it need improvements?
Every event has its own special systems going on, but one thing that seems to be a common factor is 'declaring' the items you are most interested in from any particular event. This works better than a flat point system like my previous LS had.

11. What have you been doing after you reached the high level/max level on your character? What’s your goal in the game after max level?
I level other jobs that interest me, merit, collect gear for jobs I enjoy, do quests, help others, attempt to solo or low man things, etc. Right now my main goal is to outfit my Dragoon with decent gear.

12. What is your favorite part of the game? Why is it your favorite?
I like the job/skill system. Its pretty well balanced and allows people to customize their characters from the get go. I just wish people didn't always live by the cookie cutter idea of what jobs/subs people are supposed to play

Registered the game the first December of NA release, whenever that was. But I didn't start playing till the following February.

Endgame LS

4. Why and How did you join the linkshell(s) you are in?
Friends started it up

5. How long have you been in the linkshell(s)?
1 Month since the previous LS was disbanded.

6. Have you been in other linkshells in the past? If so, How many have you joined? Why did you leave?
A few, I believe 4 in total. Two I left just to move on and experience new content of the game, the other two, were disbanded/drama.

Just this one.

8. What are some of the things your linkshell(s) do as a whole or in a group?
As a Linkshell: Limbus, Dynamis, Einherjar, Sky, Jailers, HNMs, ZNMs
People do their own groups for: Salvage, Assaults
Scheduled events take priority though (most of the time: aka, eihernjar for example).


9. What do you like and not like about the linkshell(s) you are currently in?
Pros: good people to be around with.
Cons: Not enough females

Show up to shit, do shit, help with shit, and dont fuck shit up, that's all....no retarded point system

No idea what is meant, I still ahve other jobs I haven't leveled so, no maat's cap, and prolly won't be getting that, cause I have no intentions of taking certain jobs beyond 37.
