if yo got a brd with storm fife best way i've done this is blu/nin brd/whm and a melee or blm with sanction and double ballad 6 mp its easy for the brd to heal the other two and no need to worry about a dmg problem

ring itself is still a very good ring. 3 attack is generally better than 1 accuracy and the only ring that definitely beats it at 75 is, well, mars's.

the amount of time it takes to get is a good point though, since if the three of you can farm ~20k/hr each (hell. just do avatars heh) you could probably get 3 sniper +1's in the time it would take to get 3 divisors.

Yes, but you can also do these runs for Salvage AP! The hypothetical uses for time are endless really. The ring is really good, but spend your time as you please.

We do only do salvage once a week now, we'll be picking it up to two soon possibly, but even so the AP thing isn't much of a worry. Fwiw it's worth we're only getting two rings, but this still looks like a ridonkulous long time. I just hope I have my X's Knife luck with this silly thing.

That's for the advice for the fight too. :D

oh definitely. I would love a divisor and have been pushing to get my group to stop spamming RVB's and start doing those runs + one more tag on azure experiments instead.

of course, most of them took ulthalam's and don't seem to care about +2 acc for -1 attack... heh

I go as WAR/NIN, BRD/WHM and RDM/DRK to stun ga's. You can basically use retaliation and phalanx II/Protect IV for the non black mages. We pulled them one at a time, and I would consider it a fairly decent setup. You can sleep the non black mages with a pretty good rate.

I did, however, get a few resists when I typed "/ma Sleep" a few times and didn't change into my enfeebling gear. The lamia's are pretty cakey when they are fully enfeebled (slow II, carnage, paralyze, blind, dia III). Also to note, they don't seem to resist red mage nukes very well. So if you are low on time and high on MP, you can bust out some T3 damage to speed up the process.

I've done this assault 60 times or so, seen 1 Divisor and 2 Ataractic Solea drops.

To the OP, I'd probably go nin, thf, rdm. Good luck.

Definitely go NIN, THF, RDM. NIN or RDM should sub DRK for stun.

THF is a very good DD for this one, especially with attack down. Acid Bolts and Dia II negate a good portion of the effect, and weapon skills seemed to do just as good (at least Shark Bite did) while under the effect. With Attack up, Sneak Attack and Trick Attack's 1min timers (which are obviously not affected by Slow) come in handy, especially on weapon skills. They go down very very fast if you start out with TP for them too.

I go as DRK/NIN, THF/NIN, RDM/WHM, covering Stun and damage nicely. Just tonight we cleared with 8-9min left, getting 3/4 of the two bad effects.

    1/1 ring
then 0/40ish on ring and shoes.

MNK/NIN x2 and RDM/WHM, ga's were only a problem if we had half HP thingy on, not wipe problem, but close XD

Just fight unlocked and run when you see a -ga. Even with the usual ridiculous assault lag, you'll get out of range in plenty of time.

I do it BLM/RDM x2 and brd(dual boxed). We always kill at the same speed and finish with around 10 minutes left. Without storm fife we used to kill with around 5 min left.
