Dynamis and Limbus Get a Makeover! (08/04/2008)

For merits, Salvage, regular Limbus zones and city Dynamis, COR DD pretty good. I just want to to be better for more higher tier stuff instead of having to /WHM or /RDM.

Also, I didn't even think about adding MAB to a COR piece. That would be amazing, although they'd probably just say "Enhances Quick Draw".

Quick Draw would need a lot of enhancing though to make it outperform what we get on things such as "Denali Jacket".

But like someone said, it'd be hard to fuck of COR here, and I agree. Give us job specific upgrades like "Luzaf's Ring", or some new "traits" like "Play the Field" - which would give 'hidden effect: MP+50 when /mage, HP+50 when /dd or something, similar to the weird bard relic pieces.

And regardless, BECAUSE Rdm has refresh, it is expected to use it on others.

Every party I have been in has had a Blu that has been a powerhouse. You'd have to be crazy not to believe it is one of the most powerful jobs in the game. Adding a refresh AF piece to it may not seem like much, but it would further push the job away from the norm. There are plenty of other jobs that should get a form of auto refresh before Blu.

And if my statements are having that much of an effect on you, perhaps you should log off your computer and go outside. You're coming across as a 5 year old who just heard someone who has an opinion that isn't their own and is therefor throwing a temper tantrum.

And we're telling you to shut the fuck up. +1 auto-refresh isn't broken; BLU isn't broken. As someone else put it, auto-refresh on AF2 still won't put a significant dent in how BLU "hemorrhages" MP. None of what BLU does the best is made critically better by a refresh hat, and if you knew anything about BLU at all and what might end up broken on its AF you would be saying that BLU skill +15 will make a significant increase in the base damage of physical spells, which is unlike any other magical skill. (I'm not saying that would be broken, but it would be the more broken part of anything that's been mentioned for BLU AF2 so far.)

Oh, and SE: please please please finally put <Blue Magic> in the auto-translator.

I don't think blu is over powered at all. On my server they only seem to get parties as a last resort. They can't keep up with other meele in a merit party.

Sorry but as a BLU that works his ass off to be good, BLU is the new DRG (decent in the right hands, ass poor in the wrong hands).

And what job needs refresh more on a Relic?

RDM? oh wait they have it
BLM? oh wait they have it
WHM? oh wait they have it

In fact what you don't realize is unless the piece that has refresh has 3+ Haste or a decent amount of Attk/Acc it's gonna be situational to useless, even if it does have skill too. If it has skill and no haste/Acc/Attk then it still will only be macro'd on for spells and that's it.

I would like you to know that this part nearly gave me a heart attack. I don't think I've been that surprised while laughing that hard in my entire life.

I'm sure you saw a super mega fucking awesome BLU who shot fireballs from his eyes and bolts of lightning from his arse, but not everything is a colibri and in any merit another DD can do more with less upkeep. I can only assume you're suffering from circa 2004 DRK syndrome and think those big flashy disseverments automatically puts BLU at the top tier. Well, have fun with that. I'll be spamming MP Drainkiss and Magic Hammer at every opportunity to keep my MP at a reasonable percentage while pacing my spell use. The secret in why BLU isn't as good as other DDs in hidden somewhere in this paragraph. Go Find it! :D
