And we're telling you to shut the fuck up. +1 auto-refresh isn't broken; BLU isn't broken. As someone else put it, auto-refresh on AF2 still won't put a significant dent in how BLU "hemorrhages" MP. None of what BLU does the best is made critically better by a refresh hat, and if you knew anything about BLU at all and what might end up broken on its AF you would be saying that BLU skill +15 will make a significant increase in the base damage of physical spells, which is unlike any other magical skill. (I'm not saying that would be broken, but it would be the more broken part of anything that's been mentioned for BLU AF2 so far.)

Sorry but as a BLU that works his ass off to be good, BLU is the new DRG (decent in the right hands, ass poor in the wrong hands).

And what job needs refresh more on a Relic?

RDM? oh wait they have it
BLM? oh wait they have it
WHM? oh wait they have it

In fact what you don't realize is unless the piece that has refresh has 3+ Haste or a decent amount of Attk/Acc it's gonna be situational to useless, even if it does have skill too. If it has skill and no haste/Acc/Attk then it still will only be macro'd on for spells and that's it.

Sorry, I don't buy it. If you do a search on any given server, you will find tons of Blus. I can't find a merit party without having at least one. If you are going to play the 'omg Blu is teh new Drg', either play Drg, or replace Blu with Pup.

As for a job that could use refresh more than Blu? Oh... I don't know, maybe Smn? Or hell, I'm sure the Plds would love refresh as well.

I'm sure you saw a super mega fucking awesome BLU who shot fireballs from his eyes and bolts of lightning from his arse, but not everything is a colibri and in any merit another DD can do more with less upkeep. I can only assume you're suffering from circa 2004 DRK syndrome and think those big flashy disseverments automatically puts BLU at the top tier. Well, have fun with that. I'll be spamming MP Drainkiss and Magic Hammer at every opportunity to keep my MP at a reasonable percentage while pacing my spell use. The secret in why BLU isn't as good as other DDs in hidden somewhere in this paragraph. Go Find it! :D

For COR I hope at least one piece of each AF+1 and Relic have a decent amount of MP on cus the shit I wear atm can't possibly get any uglier when /WHM. I also don't think it would be at all overpowered or unreasonable for a Relic piece to allow buffs to be as powerful as if the relevant job was in the party, 20MP a minute is broken? 30 Attack is broken? Not like every COR is gonna be able to turn around and own it either.

4) Other Magical DDs don't need merits to target only 1 mob and not create death by Darters when casting a magical spell.

5) What the fuck is 1/tick MP going to do for a job that spends 65+ for a nearly instant-cast spell?

I don't think he's ever seen a good WAR, DRK, SAM in action is all, I'd be under the impression BLUs were broken too if I only ever played with people who fell into a transdimensional time warp from 2005

I don't think anyone was arguing that having full-time full-strength buffs was overpowered, I was just saying it felt like it would eliminate the situational use of almost all melee buffs.

The 'overpowered' tag was on if the relic gave stronger DD stats then gear that is already available to COR, because they'd have to make some pretty broken shit to top what's already out, and in doing so would go pretty far towards taking away RNG's place as a stronger ranged attacker than COR.

Let me simply say that it would be retarded to give Blu refresh on ANYTHING. The job is already broken enough, giving something like that would kill interest in quite a few other jobs.

If anything, give SMNs Auto Refresh 2. We've earned it.
