Dynamis and Limbus Get a Makeover! (08/04/2008)

Partially the new armour, but more the new cost. There are a lot of people who I know would farm dynamis if it were cheaper, and now it is. It's worth 50-100k a week for a shot at some relic if you have a small group of friends who are competant. Hell we put off starting our own shell after my last one died because no one wanted to commit to funding it. I decided to and so far so good, but 500k opens it up to far more people.

50k each for 10 people - makes it more like Limbus. Sure there's a limit to what you can achieve with 10 but I know it will appeal to some.

Exactly. Large, established groups who currently schedule around each other (more or less) will suddenly have to deal with the group of friends who can suddenly afford to low-man farm a zone and tie it up for 3 hours. If we don't get instanced Dynamis, the fight over some zones will be much much worse than it is now...

They could still mention the instanced part, LD. You know how SE can be skimpy on full notes until update day-- we'll see a list of shit that we didn't see today.

I'm honestly hoping they'll just finish up this epic change to Dynamis by putting the three jobs on Relic weapons. (and subsequently "forgetting" to add the notes about it)

I'm also thinking about what was mentioned in the Summit interviews, the fact that they want to revive interest in Sky content and may add drops to the gods or add new jobs to god gear. Adding new jobs to relic weapons would fit in with that idea.

I can just imagine if DNC gets added to the relic dagger... /dream

All this is good and well, but if they don't instance Dynamis, it won't matter. It's going to be more congested than ever.

Also, 15k for limbus? Jesus Christ on a cracker, 30k wasn't that bad, 15k is pocket change.. but seriously? =/

I've gotta say it - I think the PUP relic armor is a HUGE improvement in look over the AF.

I also didn't expect them to reduce the cost of Limbus again, but I'm not really gonna complain about it since it'll lower the overhead on completing AF+1.

Cor body is ugly. price adjustment for dynamis is long overdue as well as the drop rate increase, with any luck the selected areas will be Non-COP dynamis areas.

I stayed in Dynamis several months after ToAU came out thinking it wasn't going to be that long until they added these. Guess I was wrong though ahah

I still do Limbus so least that'll be fine
