They could still mention the instanced part, LD. You know how SE can be skimpy on full notes until update day-- we'll see a list of shit that we didn't see today.

I'm honestly hoping they'll just finish up this epic change to Dynamis by putting the three jobs on Relic weapons. (and subsequently "forgetting" to add the notes about it)

I'm also thinking about what was mentioned in the Summit interviews, the fact that they want to revive interest in Sky content and may add drops to the gods or add new jobs to god gear. Adding new jobs to relic weapons would fit in with that idea.

I can just imagine if DNC gets added to the relic dagger... /dream

I don't doubt that they might add it, I just doubt it'll be this update. All of this information is mostly about Dynamis and Limbus changes, and they rarely split related information. If they're planning to instance both, the only reason they haven't announced it now is because they're not sure they can finish by the deadline. With that much doubt within the company, I wouldn't put my money on getting it in September.


Also, I too think the Cor color isn't horrible. It's a nice ocean blue, in keeping with the pirate theme. Not too light to be gayish, but not too dark to be emo. It reminds me of navy outfits from the great age of piracy. I think people are dumping on it, because just like the current color scheme in video games lowadays, people prefer earthen colors, browns and greens and shit, over brighter stuff.

Sucks I have to do Dynamis again but at least it's cheaper.. (almost hope the blu af2 stats suck, rofl..) UPdates just keep getting better, SE seems to be learning on some things. Wish they could fix the shit they broke(ie sandworm) faster though.

My only wish in regards to BLU AF2 is that the hat is worth wearing most of the time. The black viel is is a pure bad-ass statement: I take this off and your soul is mine...

On the other hand, BLU af doesn't really look like it changed much outside of a darker blue. Also, does the "other means" mean not from dynamis and crafted by that chick who does AF1?

A lot of AF doesn't change a huge amount visually, but it really becomes clear next to the original armor.

Plus, who seriously doesn't expect Blu relic body will have Refresh?

BLU having refresh on AF....Yea, it'd be nice, but why expect something only to be let down? If the logic is 'all mage AFs have refresh on them' then shouldn't SMN's have it too? If you say 'they don't have it because they have the auto-refresh trait', then that's another mark against BLU, isn't it?

Blu can get auto-refresh traits set multiple ways, Smn can basically duo a refresh body piece, which last I checked no other job could do, so while I'm personally not a Blu, I'm betting it will be there which will drive my Blu friend crazy since as a Bst and Blu main he had no reason to give two shits about Dyna before.

If they instanced dynamis, it could actually have a negative impact on the currency economy.

Given the choice, would your linkshell:
A) Do Ice
B) Do CoP
C) Do a sponsored city run
D) A & B are always before C.

Most LS I know would rather do Ice or CoP runs. The only reason they don't is because they don't want to cockblock the rest of the server. On a good day, Beaucedine may bring in 3/4 of a city run, but rarely equal. If they instance, it would be nice to see a currency increase in Xarcabard and the CoP zones. Maybe they should make the mini-bosses drop something.

I know people early on were saying "COR AF2, meh" but this is coming from folks who haven't had to run around in pink...er..."salmon" AF for years.

Bluecoat, do want. And for everything else Luzafy, there's .dat swappin.

Also, one thing I didn't notice mentioned here is very, very simple.

When they add the new mobs to add BLU/COR/PUP Dynamis gear, the mob layout will inevitably change. Xarc will need another three demon lords, BLU/COR/PUP (Kindred's Automaton?) mobs, etc.

Strategies will be changing, the old maps will become out-of-date. Effectively, this'll revamp all the zones.
