Hmm, okay. I have made three sigs in my life. Spanning my entire time on the game. The second is sadly (thankfully) missing.

First, notoriously-embarassing attempt:

Note the lack of subjob. I was that new to the game. This sig lasted about 2 weeks before I came to my senses and removed it, pretending like it had never existed.


Fast forward to one night a month or so ago (it was actually during the first of the two recent server update maintenances) and, bored, I played around in Gimp and came up with the one I'm currently using. Here's a larger version of it:

As gimpy as I am in Gimp, I actually quite like it. Even more so because it makes perfect sense to some people and none whatsoever to others.


Oh and, seeing as Thistle brought up Avatars, that gobby I have up there was the result of my first proper foray into the murky world of sprite rendering.

The week I got suspended an LS mate came up with this one and I havent gotten to use it much due to size.

You mean the program I used to knock together that Gobby sprite?

That was just GIMP, a completely free application. It's just Photoshop-Lite basically -- it isn't a purpose-made spriting application. I just made a new canvas, something like 75x75 pixels, then zoomed in 400% and got the pencil tool out, using the Goblin Image to trace over on a transparent layer to get the rough shape. -_^
