So wait, which is it? I'm so confused. I'm terrible at math, but I'd love to understand this, lol.

Odds of getting a specific number (ie. 999) is 1/1,000,000

one 999 being 1/1000 (0-999), second being 1/1000

1000*1000 = 1,000,000


Odds of getting two rolls to roll the same twice in a row (not caring about number) is 1/1000

First roll being any number 1000/1000 (it doesn't matter what number, you're guaranteed to get it) = 1/1

Second roll being the same number 1/1000 (that same number)

1000*1 = 1000
