Not a movie.
I just finished watching "Line of Duty", a five episode arc on Hulu. It is clearly a British drama, given the accents and language.
I found it EXCELLENT.
Is there a thread for THAT THING I CANT REMEMBER HELP ME REMEMBER IT?
I think there is but I have no clue where it is:
So, I recall an animated movie. I thought it was Disney but the only one closely resembling it would be Treasure Planet. Wasn't it. So, it's sci-fi outerspace based and the last bit is they find a ship with species to rebuild Earth.
Titan AE, maybe? Everywhere I look doesn't say anything about species, so either I'm recalling it wrong or there's another animated movie. Something like a futuristic Noah's Ark.
(It's probably Titan AE...)
My first thought was Titan AE but you already thought of that.
Sounds like Titan A.E. to me, too. Titan is a great big spaceship with all the genetic info from Earth. Kid and his Dad escape Earth's destruction, as does Titan. His dad takes Titan into hiding, is never seen again. Kid grows up hating his dad. Wheels start turning, he sets out on a quest to find Titan. Aliens abound, and I'm pretty sure it's Disney, though if not it closely mimics their hand-drawn art style of the 90s.
It's definitely Titan A.E. The whole basis of the movie was finding the ship to terraform a new planet Earth. Picked up Iron Sky yesterday for 10 bucks at Target. That's getting tossed in at the next bad movie night. Can't fucking wait.
lol Iron Sky is a rock solid choice for bad movie night. You won't not regret it!
Throw "Rubber" and "Bad Boy Bubby" in the box as well.
Run Ronnie Run. Will never let you down.
Sounds like it might run around and desert me, though.
October Sky. Idk why I hadn't heard of this movie before but it was really great, total feel good movie (which I usually don't like) but it really got me.
Bourne Legacy, wasn't great, wasn't bad. Rachel Weisz can still get it though.
Savages was a lot better than I expected going into it.
Trick 'r' Treat is a fun "horror" movie that centers around a few different stories that somewhat intertwine with a satisfying conclusion... pretty sure it was a direct to dvd movie, but one of the better ones i've seen to date
Can't remember if I posted about Savages already, but I would watch it a second time. Bourne Legacy was awful. Resident Evil Retribution was ok if you liked the other ones.
I just saw Men In Black 3 last night. I thought it was pretty enjoyable. Not as great as the first one but probably better than the second one, at least. Kinda bummed there wasn't more Tommy Lee Jones in it.
Spoiler: show
People talking about Savages, Benico DT killed that role as the enforcer. Oscar shit right there, fuck his "Traffic" Oscar
He did amazingSpoiler: show
