Hmm didnt bring anything down to me really, Made perfect sense with the type of message they were trying to push in the movie. Loved all of it.

I had the opposite reaction to it; I thought it was a great movie, then I saw the end and thought it was an amazing movie.

Eh, I just don't like the whole 'let's leave it up to the audience to decide' bs.

I don't believe it was left up to the audience there. Regardless, amazing movie.

The point was not about deciding which was the real version though

Going to second what Null said though, if you're a Hardy fan and haven't seen Warrior then go see it now! Shit, even if you're not go see it, that movie is great.
Anybody who likes Hardy should check out Bronson. It's on Netflix and it's basically Tom Hardy at his best. Killer soundtrack as well.

I know that, thus the question: why have two versions? What was the author trying to accomplish by introducing the second one? The latter didn't make it any better than it already was, on the contrary, it brought it down for me.

Why have multiple routes that lead to the same destination?

I'm only fifteen minutes into Bronson, but I just wanted to post how much I like it so far. I really see the comparisons to A Clockwork Orange. Hope it doesn't disappoint down the road.

Ok, just finished it. Amazingly artful. I give it to him for his acting in this movie and the fact he was willing to have his fucking schlong out for half the damn movie/fights.

anyone know some korean films with subtle/subdued/minimal elements? (soundtrack, shots, etc)
really appreciate those elements in haneke films or kiyoshi kurosawa works

hell, any nation's cinema will do but just wondering for korean films specifically because i'm starting to think they can be a little drawn out with the dramatics and shit

also for the record, i saw it a while back but i still think confessions was dumb

Aye, it was. I compared it to A Clockwork Orange though. It definitely wasn't fast paced either. That doesn't make it bad.

Slow is fine if the story is gripping enough, I just personally wasn't too into it.

Curious what your thoughts on Drive are. I wonder if it's a slow movie thing, or just a Nicolas Winding Refn thing.

I also hated Drive, lol. I don't have an issue with slow movies usually, but the writing and long awkward pauses is what killed it for me.

Did that guy write/direct both Bronson and Drive? If so then yeah, it's definitely his style that I don't like.

Just tried watching the bourne legacy. Got 35min in and turned it off. Maybe it picks up later, but if 1/3 the movie is a snorefest id rather just cut my loses and move on.
